Well wearing "Doc Martens" does have a connotation doesn't it?

They do? I'm not aware of any connotation. I just know they are expensive.

Well that one is worn by the girrrrls.

One of those girls will kick your but.

They could probably beat me at arm wrestling.

Is what that means.

You asked about Ted Haggard.

I do not really know anything about that fellow.

I heard he was a religious guy who condemned homosexuality, and then got caught in a gay affair or something.

Kind of like Jimmy Swaggert when he kept getting caught with prostitutes.

That is all I know about him.

I saved up. And I am hopeless at arm wrestling. I know this, cause I entered a competition with SAHWs and came last (true story).

Well they are an unusual fashion statement.

Years ago, a girlfriend had me swing in a shoe store to see them.

And I simply could not believe she wanted to wear them.

I never looked at her the same after that.

I said "you crazy, girl".

And all the laces!

I would need them in slip on's.

We broke up soon after that.

Mark, I'm almost completely certain you are gay.

The pictures are that good?

Well they are fierce.

But I did not pick them.

God did.

And as I told you, God is a female.

With good taste.

But they are fierce, aren't they?

When my mother ran for the public school board of education in 1959 or 60 she was asked at a community meeting, where members can ask questions of the candidates, if our family said grace at meals. She said no, the others all said yes. She won anyway, the first women elected to the board. She thought that was such a stupid question to ask, which it was.

That is interesting, they don't ask questions like that anymore.

I would like to know the religious background of candidates myself.

I would tend to vote for a guy who says "I go to church every week".

And someone who says grace every meal.

But you can't really ask questions like that now a days.
