A Man On The Inside **Trigger Warning**

Okay, there's one more quirky and heartfelt series on Netflix. It has only eight episodes. Ted Danson stars. It's set in San Francisco in a retirement community. It's got all the feels.

---This is NOPE for those dealing with or recovering through taking care of an Alzheimer's patient.  Just do not watch.---

Aside from that, I liked it.   LMK what you thought.  :)

My neighbor recommended this series.  As backstory, she just went through a couple tough years with her parents in assisted living, and both her parents died within months of each other earlier this year.  She said she laughed and cried, and found it cathartic and relatable.  Her parents were wealthy, and I envisioned them in a very nice facility like the one in the series.

We went through the assisted living through end of life ordeal last year with my MIL, and we found the series heartwarming and relatable in some instances, as well.  Highly recommend.

It was fun to see some of the cast from The Good Place here and there in the series.

I appreciate the heads up about this being associated with Alzheimer’s. I may have had my mother and memory care, but she died five years ago and it’s still hard seeing stuff on television and books and what have you that’s about this subject.

My mother had dementia and my father had a hard time with it. I was supporting her and him as he fell apart. It wasn't easy.

I thought this was wonderfully written and it brought up a lot of memories for me but I was fine with that. There were moments that weren't easy, but there was much I could relate to. For me the heart of the story is that wonderful friendship between Charles and Calbert.
