Does anyone know what they’re up to? She stopped blogging a long time ago and I think last I heard a couple of kids were married, but that was several years ago.

Jaynee Rebecca

Inspirational posts, updates on family and ServePro.  They do seem to have a lot of fun together as a family when they get together.  

They live in Redding, CA.  I seem to recall that Daniel worked for the City of Redding or some other type of steady job with benefits but it seems maybe they have a ServePro connection of some kind now. 

Looks like four kids are married, with two grandkids.

I see. Her Facebook used to have both of their names on it, that’s why I couldn’t find it. I see she’s been posting stuff about feeling lost, her world crashing down, and friends are bringing her flowers and coffee. I wonder what’s going on.

Well, she's at an age (50ish) when it's not unusual for parents to pass away -- I wonder if that's happened, or maybe some other relative or friend has passed. But yes, I did notice that were references to some struggles.  Or maybe one of the newly married kids is using birth control.  Ya never know with fundies.

Is she the one who lived in Mexico trying to save the Catholics until her husband did something that got him kicked out? But we never knew what it was....

"Moral failure" is a fundie euphemism for s-e-x outside of marriage.  

I hope, for Jaynee's sake,  that Daniel didn't father a child with whoever he was cheating with.

Yeah, there was never a word about who the other person was...but as a missionary he was in a position of pastoral responsibility to members of the church...

Reminds me of the Holts. Similar in age and have a lot of grown kids. Bobye went back to Jim after the DV. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jaynee did too. It must be really hard to leave after being together for that long with a lot of kids. Plus the Christian shame around divorce.

Based on some comments on the Shasta County Emergencies and Crimes Facebook page, the Joel Lockwood arrested in early October for sexually abusing his daughters when they were younger is Daniel's brother and the brother's wife helped cover it up.  Joel Lockwood somehow managed to post both $250,000 and $1million bail.

The wife of an Anderson man accused of molesting his two daughters is being charged with helping to conceal her husband’s alleged crimes. Shasta County Sheriff’s Detectives started investigating 47-year-old Joel Darrell Lockwood in July. They say he sexually abused the girls when they were between the ages of 10 and 16 at the family’s home on Pheasant Drive in Anderson. Lockwood was arrested in August on 12 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child. He was freed on $250,000 bail. Detectives continued to investigate and arrested Lockwood again last week on 24 additional counts, for which he was arraigned Tuesday. This time his bail was set at a Million Dollars, which he again posted and he remains out of custody. The Sheriff’s Office says his wife, Deborah Lockwood, was told of the abuse by the victims but did nothing to stop it. She’ll face charges of child endangerment. Both victims are now adults.

Heartbreaking and I'm glad there is at least some form of restitution.

The DA refused to press charges but suing the church worked. 

One sentence in the article caught my eye and I truly hope this did not also happen to Jaynee:

• #rwbp ?? i'd guess RW refers to right wing but not sure  Anyone?

• 3 percenter  Anti Defamation League entry on Three Percenters "Three Percenters (also known as 3%ers, III%ers, and Threepers) are anti-government extremists who are part of the militia movement...Three Percenters are part of the militia movement, which supports the idea of a small number of dedicated “patriots” protecting Americans from government tyranny  The link has a lot of information about Three Percenter.  These groups will become much more emboldened when Trump takes office. 

I've known Jaynee is, let's say, an extremely right wing conservative. Sounds like Daniel may have gone way around the bend, but I'd consider that many, many people in Redding share their views.

I always knew he wasn’t lying. However his justification because it was so common was what was disturbing. It’s like a person justifying driving drunk because it’s so common. That doesn’t ever make it ok. The fact that it’s so common shows there is a systematic problem.
