What did Alyssa say to get them to sit in this pose- it wasn't "cheese"

The top half of the photo looks charming, the bottom half pose is a bit disconcerting

Disconcerting might be too mild! Yikes.

I can't hate on her for this one - as a family & wedding photographer - those girls are prime age for loving the camera. My spring/fall are usually all weddings, but my summer is constant family beach portraits. Alllll the girls I have in those age ranges LOVE having their photo taken and will happily pose. I might get one or two who are hesitant but it's usually because they're shy at first and then once they get comfortable they ham it up. Now the boys - they're like pulling teeth but my young/tween girls are easy peasy!

The girls are adorable, but these poses look odd. Very ''grown women'' for their age.

Girls this age (pre-puberty at ages 9, 7, and 6) do not naturally sit/pose with their legs crossed like this. This was definitely prompted by Alyssa. It’s disturbing. They are her dolls.

Alyssa and John pulled a Carlin and Evan in this video. They went out and ordered over a dozen fall coffee drinks to taste. Must have been a slow week. What a waste of money.

could have taken the whole family out to a restaurant, but no she takes them no where. Only fast food and brings it back to the house.

Clermont is forecast to get a ton of rain from Hurricane Milton. I wonder if these idiots have prepared.

Sure, probably making sure the bathing suits and sunscreen are readily available B)

We live probably only about 8-10 miles East of Alyssa and most people have been preparing since Sunday morning. We have already brought in all of our outdoor stuff to our garage and have drained our pool a few inches (which we will likely need to do a couple times in between bands of water). This is our first storm with a baby, which makes me a tad bit more nervous about going to sleep tonight when the storm will hit early tomorrow morning. I would be shocked if they aren't preparing -- all Publix stores around closed at 6pm YESTERDAY, so they definitely know about its potential severity.

Stay safe. My in-laws live in the area and they evacuated yesterday to Miami to my BIL's house, we were pretty nervous about them staying there so they left, thankfully.

We are okay here. I think someone mentioned Erin may live in Volusia county— they ended up getting evacuation orders yesterday around 10am! Didn’t give much people time to leave- hope that area is ok too.

My SIL lives about 60 miles east of Tampa and I haven't heard from them at all.  She and her husband are both in their 80's and frail.  They have/had a RV that they might have used to evacuate but both are so stubborn they may have just decided to ride it out.  They have lived in FL for quite a while so hurricanes are not new to them.  I hope they and their dog and cat are all ok.

I noticed that Daniel Webster was one of 11 FL Republicans to vote NO for FEMA funding.

If they are east of Tampa and in a concrete block house they are probably safer there than they would have been on the road in an RV. East of Tampa got Cat 1 winds. The real risk in that area was torrential downpours causing freshwater flash flooding, but if they had been through previous hurricanes, they probably know their flood risk. (I have a friend east of Tampa in a concrete block house and, although I am still waiting for her all-clear on Facebook, I don't have any real concerns for her.) I don't think the worst of the tornadoes were due east of Tampa: they were more to the southeast of the landfall. However, with the power grid mostly down and cellular connections very spotty, it might be a while before we hear from people in Florida.

They lucked out that the hurricane came on where it did. If it came on a little more north where they live in the Northwest suburbs of Orlando, could  have been hit by a Tornado or Tornados from those outer bans. Instead, all that stayed south of them. They don't have power since they are using a generator, but it seems like they have no damage.
