In Cascade, Iowa they found a historic beer cave recently,

About two years ago, Brian Bock with Iowa Main Street Investments bought the old brewery in Cascade.

His team got to work, renovating the building into apartments.

But as they continued to work, they started to uncover the history that was in fact left behind.

Crews had uncovered the beer cave that was once used to make beer back in the 19th century.

Just so neat that they had found that cave down in Cascade.  On my dad's side my family was headquartered in and around Cascade.  I wonder how familiar some of my ancestors were with the beer that came out of that cave.
