So she’s running democrat? Last I checked the right wingers want us barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen.

Speaking of pregnant, I saw somewhere that Jessa is pregnant again.

It wouldn’t shock me.

George isn't even a year old yet. Jessa tends to average two+ years between births. Her last two babies were 31 months apart. I find it hard to believe she's pregnant again this early.

The spacings between her last three kids were bigger bacause she had a misscarriage between Ivy and Fern and one between Fern and George.

But it would still be very early for her to be pregnant again.

I think Henry was closer spacing after Spurge. But I don't remember (anymore than, or maybe more than Blessa remembers her second child).. She's in a pregnancy cult so I wouldn't rule out anything

Henry and Spurgeon are about 15 months apart. They're very close in age. Since then, she hasn't kids this close together, but it wouldn't surprise me either.

I haven't seen anything indicating Jessa is pregnant, but I did notice in her recent Instagram video where she shows off her sourdough bread, Spurgeon says "We're using Kerrygold butter. It's our favorite!" Not even 10 years old and he already knows to get those product placements in.

She stated that she started planning the spacing of her pregnancies after the first two were so close together. She’s also had one early miscarriage and a later one. She has also stated that at some point they’ll decide their family is complete - but at the time she was asked she was pregnant, and she wasn’t going to make a decision when pregnant or with a newborn. She guessed 6-8 at that point.

What’s really interesting to me is that ALL of the 4 daughters who’ve been married awhile have stated they don’t just “leave it up to God” how many children they’ll have. It certainly makes sense given their experience growing up, but it’s still kind of surprising. Especially given the current political climate that is all in on huge families and trad wives having continual pregnancies. While 19 is still obviously freakishly huge- there’s a lot of social media influencers out there with 10 or 12 and still going.

The numbers they’ve publicly shared or hinted at being their ideal maximum are all higher than average, but not massively— 3 or 4 for Jinger, 4-6 for Joy, 6-8 for Jessa - and an implied minimum of 4 for Jill — but they all have a maximum  and use some method or another to control how many and when.  All of them have also had miscarriages, and 3 have had 2nd trimester losses or stillbirths. Those loses might also impact their decisions on spacing and number of children. As well as they all have at least a decade left of fertility and any could easily have an unexpected “oops” or two in that time.  Regardless of their ultimate number of children, they are all going to have a very, very different parenting experience than their mother. And their kids are going to have a hugely different experience than they had. Even if Spurgeon or Ivy end up doing too much child wrangling and helping with chores - there just isn’t going to be a herd of tiny babies/toddlers/pre-schoolers all at once.

Hey, yep, first para I know all that.

I'm glad that the second gen is making some changes, that will definitely help with the circumstances you mentioned.

I think if you look at Michelle and Kelly the comparison is tricky. They didn’t leave it up to God, but purposefully tried to get pregnant as often as possible. I know my base layer is different because here a family with 4 children is considered a big family, everything over 5 gets questionable and with 8-10 and more you enter freak territory. So nothing the Duggar women do is far off from the huge families and tradwive aesthetic (because let’s face it, they sell something that they don’t live 100% and it’s way of the lives of most traditional housewives in the past)to me. I think they fit it even more. Because they shrugged off the freakish air TLC gave them. Instead they loosened some rules and now look like modern conservative young women with cute children but not too many to look desperate. They just don’t follow their mother’s breeding schedule and mindset.

Jessa just had a birthday this week and she and Ben have now been married ten years. They have 5 kids. So far Anna and pest had 5 kids in 10 years, and so did Ben and Jessa. Anna had 2 more kids after that, but I don't think Jessa is necessarily done having kids.

I think some of the Duggar kids might have more than 5 kids in 10 years, but it's soon to tell.

On Ben's sister-in-law's (Ethan's wife) IG, she says that she's a flat earther. That seems like a whole lot of crazy, even for our fundies.

That seems to be a new "cool" thing for them to grasp onto. My MAGA parent is now a flat earther, too. I thought they were joking when one of my niblingd told me but nope, they really have become a flat earther. Wtf?!

When I was making calls for Kamala Harris I got someone who was crying because her boyfriend broke up with her for being a flat earther. I don’t think she was faking because she sounded devastated and I felt relieved on behalf of her ex.

I’d never met someone so willfully stupid before.

Wow, that's ... next level. But thank you so much for doing that work, Goat. I only gave money.

Small piece of good news, New Mexico is all blue on the federal level, has a blue and female governer, and just achieved this:

Seems to be for about 72 million people. Remember when the covid vaccines were coming out, certain people avoided it because of 5G and magnetism (wtf?) and then those groups had higher death rates… so the pro vaccine people were responsible for promoting vaccines, knowing that some groups would avoid them then… in order to make those specific groups die?

There’s nothing just about giving money. Your donation helped pay for the software I used for phone calls. I gave time, you gave money; both are valuable donations.

Someone on Reddit found Bin's sermon on his church website about the election. He begins by explicitly telling his congregation that they cannot be Christians and vote Democrat. He also calls them the party of death, which is crazy when considering what Trump ran on.  And then he has the audacity to talk about how white conservative Christians are somehow at risk for persecution.

Not sure how you can claim to be focusing on Christ when guilt-tripping your followers into voting a particular way.

I hate these people. They are so violent and terrible all while operating under the guise of "love".

So glad that I unfollowed all the Duggars and Bates' after the election.  I'm so much happier when I open IG.

Sounds like Ben may have broken the law.

"2 Things Religious Leaders CANNOT Do During Elections

According IRS regulations, there are only two things that pastors and churches, when classified as a 501(c)(3) organization, cannot do:

A Church Entity May Not Endorse One Candidate Over Another
This does not mean that a pastor—in his individual capacity as an American citizen—may not endorse one candidate over another. A 501(c)(3) church or organization may not, however, endorse one candidate over another or be publicly against one candidate over the other.

A Church May Not Give its Money to One Candidate Over Another
This doesn’t mean that pastors or church members, in their individual capacities as American citizens, cannot donate to the political campaign of their choice. They can even be the Campaign Chair for a candidate if they want. But an official 501(c)(3) organization may not donate church funds or resources to one political candidate over another. Of course, this is not something we have ever seen churches desiring to do."
