How refreshing to see some Bates with proper bike helmets + seat for the kid. Thumbs up for Trace!

and for themselves, no macho, I don't need no helmet for me, bullshit. Good role modelling for his son in the future on that issue.

This week's vlog... Lydia's I 130 (petition for alien relative) got approved. Next step is to go to the court in Memphis to try to pull Lydia out of her family's thing.

I guess it's Trace's turn for more disastercation. He's in Spain with Medicorps.

I'm sure when the orange one rounds up all the illegal immigrants for deportation on day one, these assholes will be exempted on account of their skin colour and religious/political affiliations, and will be cheering it all on without a single conception of their own hypocrisy.

Unreal.

And here it is already...I assume this is the program that Lydia qualified under. https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/07/politics/judge-strikes-biden-policy-undocumented-spouses/index.html

I was talking with someone Wed night, the process for their spouse has taken a long time and snags along the way. Ofc they're concerned, and they have a youngish child. The spouse isn't from this hemisphere, but scary nonetheless; and they weren't sure if they could get the spouse a passport. Just so far reaching. A family members, not yet in-laws. I don't know for them.

I feel extremely sorry for the vast majority of people who will be affected by that policy being struck down, but not even a little sorry for Trace and Lydia Bates.

I don't usually wish deportation on anyone, but my exception will be made for the Romeike family and that Urban Anselm guy from PPs hate church and founder of the german branch of FWBC. And contrary to many from middle and south America, they would have a very soft landing here in Germany. But I know that the Bates family has to many connections in the fundie world and we know how they will use these connections, at least for Lydia, to get them an excemption.

Anyone who doesn't follow the law but wants other people who break the same law to be punished is a massive hypocrite.  And yeah, some people facing deportation are afraid for their lives and these people are complaining about maybe being sent back to a place with universal healthcare. Give me a break.
