School headmistress and family found dead

Truly awful story.

The headmistress of a private boarding school was found dead in the early hours of Sunday morning, alongside her husband and their seven-year-old daughter. Post-mortems are yet to be completed, but the current theory is that the husband shot her and their daughter before killing himself; he had a gun licence. She apparently made a distressed call to a relative, but was dead by the time the relative arrived at the house.
