Hopefully Recalls Are All Done

GM had recalled all the Chevy Bolts made before late 2022 because of battery issues and began replacing batteries.  (After software limiting ones with original batteries to 80% charge).  Last month they finally had a replacement battery for me and I was able to get the battery replaced on my Bolt.  Right afterwards they did another recall for the rear seatbelt pretensioners as there was a small chance they could overheat.  I got that done this morning and it took about 1.5 hours.

I hope that's the last recall for a while.  I'm ready to be done with recalls.

Well this is timely.

The dealer asked me when scheduling my recall to make sure the rear seats were all clear of stuff and that it wouldn't hurt to have the cargo area clear too.  So I did both before taking the Bolt in.  Next up is finding a car wash place that can do the inside really good because it's been quite a while since I've had the inside cleaned.  (Down in Dubuque we had Miracle Car Wash who did both inside and outside the vehicle but I need to find someone in the Twin Cities).
