Hostages on HBO

I started watching the new documentary on HBO, Hostages, about the Iran hostage crisis.  Having to pull myself away to go to bed, it's outstanding. I was 10-11 years old at the time and my only memories are daily counts and yellow ribbons everywhere.

To my shame, I did not know the extent that America was involved from the '53 coup onward and how we turned a blind eye to all the Shah's many atrocities.  The Iranian people had every right to feel the way they did.
