Looks like Edgar and Rachel Robert’s are expecting their second. That means the Robert’s will be up to 6 grandchildren? I believe there was 12 children in the family, I know not all are married but is there a less quiver full second generation that anyone else can think of ?

I doubt any of them will have anything close to 12. They all seem way too worldly to bog themselves down with a kid every 18 months.

Kressant posted that her husband had to go to the ER because he "got some metal in his eye at work." Has anyone ever been so devoted to working without PPE?

Considering that she seems to have some sort of chronic illness that leaves her bedbound for weeks and they continue to live in rural PG with access to only limited healthcare, I'm not surprised.  I don't understand their complete defiance of common sense safety.

As things just get worse and worse for them, I’m more and more amazed they stay.

It looks like Rachel took some of her kids to the US for a visit. She probably wished she could stay.

I was looking through old FJ threads and couldn’t find the actual reason why they went to Paraguay in the first place. Any insight into why?

The general consensus was that they were fleeing the evil gubment and all it's *overbearing * oversight/restrictions (like seatbelt laws and car seats).

Which is just beyond bizarre to me. Because that evil government would likely help them so much if they lived in the US. I bet they would qualify for Medicaid. Which means they could all get some sort of medical treatment for their constant illnesses and injuries here in the US for little cost. Kress has had so many medical problems that she came to the US to try and fix them. Except she only went to a quack US doctor who gave her supplements and nothing was fixed. And then she hurt her foot recently. And so did one of her sons. I’m sure they have to pay more down there for medical treatment compared to having Medicaid in the US. And in the US they would have a ton of support from family on the Morton compound. They would live much better lives. But nope. They will just double down. I truly hope they don’t stop their children from moving back to the US when they are adults. That should be their choice. They shouldn’t have to stay down there and support their parents and siblings doing manual labor.

Meanwhile, Kressant's parents were just at one of trump's GA rallies. In preparation, Jackie posted this:

If you have ever wondered who is stupid & awful enough to support trump, now you know.

Trump gives zero shits about her and her family. She would be much better off voting for Kamala. Because things will only get worse for her and Cap if trump wins.

Plenty of people support Trump. I live in a blue state and there are tons of Trump signs. Some of them are normal campaign signs. Some are flags. Some are almost billboards nailed to wooden posts put up to display the overly large sign.

I think Kress was on all the supplements prior to seeing the doctor in the US.  She was very quiet about what the US doctor said/recommended which makes me suspicious that she was recommended an evaluation/treatment that they couldn't afford.

She might have been on supplements pre US visit but she was on a lot more after. She posted a picture of all the stuff she was taking during her stay with her sister. I suspect she saw chiropractors/homeopathic/naturopathic practitioners because all her "medicines" seemed to be non science based.

During her US visit she seemed much happier and who can blame her - surrounded by family and out of the grinding poverty of the Chaco.

I wonder if the Morton parents will ever live down there full time. My prediction is no.

Alyssa is pregnant with number 7. A huge gap for her (checks notes) January 2023 was the last one?!  It honestly felt longer.

Did these younger siblings not see Katie’s life or Kreasant and Michael and Westley and Rachael and think 🤔 hmm not for me?!

also what do you get a woman who is having her 7th baby in 8 years?! Diapers?

To each their own, but for me motherhood goal wouldn't be seven kids in eight years...

Same. Quality over quantity. I have two and being a mom is my favorite thing in the whole wide world but I don't think I would be a good mother or enjoy motherhood if I had seven children. Wish I had a third kid but I had complicated pregnancies and I actually value my health and my living children so no more babies for me...

My husband and I always wanted a big family and I know I've told him semi-seriously that "seven sounds like a good number."  (We had six, I'm not anticipating any more because of my age, but we are content either way.  It was never really about a specific number for us.)

At no point did my vision of seven children ever include having them in eight years!  We had one set of babies with a short spacing (14 months) and I was so busy and exhausted that I barely even remember that entire year of my life.  (Which bothers me now because one of those babies was my son who died and I want to remember everything I can about the brief time he was here.)  Imagine doing that for 8 years.  How much of your kids' childhood would you actually remember after it was over?

I found FJ when I was a newlywed and expecting my first. I think my ongoing fascination with these families is because I've always been on board with the large family and homeschooling parts but we could not be more different in pretty much every other way.
