I discovered the Muellers when David Waller's brother Adam married Valerie Mueller.  The Muellers have a blog which used to be updated with family events, weddings, babies, graduations--nothing too snarkworthy if you don't include Valerie and Adam's courtship story.  Apparently Val's brother Joe has decided to become an itinerant evangelist and is promoting himself pretty heavily.  Mind you this guy has 7 kids.  Why do people do this to their families? Shades of Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show!  Get a real job, dude, and take care of those kids!

His wife’s father was “saved out of Roman Catholicism” shortly before she was born, so she got to have a Christian upbringing. :eyeroll: I swear to Almighty God I want to (figuratively) stab anyone who says Catholics aren’t Christians.

Mega Dominionist and Christofascist thought that is manifesting big time in our country.  The subtext is that Republicans must win by any means possible and "any means" are legit because taking over the country for the Kingdom of God is an imperative. 

So this guy isn't just going out to blow Jesus rainbows up peoples' skirts - he thinks he's been tapped to help manifest God's takeover here on earth via spiritual warfare and I'm pretty sure his preaching will reflect that.

I’m always skeptical of people who claim they defeated their sin life without disclosing what it was. I’m betting in high school he either looked at porn, looked at boys in “that way,” or looked at gay porn and thought “why not both…?” And then sadly realized none of those three options were available to him so…Jesus.
