Jana Duggar 12: Will She or Won't She?

True, they don't deserve to punished for what Smuggar did. But I imagine if Jer or Jana got married, have kids and they're still keeping in close contact with Smuggar, perhaps their spouses would feel uneasy for their kids during family gatherings whenever Smuggar is around? That can't be comfortable.

Maybe because I can't see his siblings keeping him at a distance despite what happened. But I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong and we'll see more Duggarlings separate themselves a la Jill, keeping a healthy boundaries.

I don’t think Jim Bob and Michelle care much anymore whether or not Jana wears pants because the brand is dead. It was finally killed by Josh’s arrest. There is no coming back from child porn. Gone are the days of TLC trips and announcements made on morning shows. The enormous, happy, pure Christian family was exposed to not exist. 
I would like to see Jana do something other than travel around to sporting events. (I already feel they, the fake fans, have tarnished my beloved Dodgers.) I would love to see her go to school or get a real job. Right now, she is just living the same life but in pants. Color me not impressed by any 30 year-old in pants, fundy or not. To me, she is still just waiting to find her headship but in skinny jeans.

She needs to get a job. I think Lowes or Home Depot would be the perfect fit. She could literally work in any department and have a working knowledge. She even knows how to operate a forklift. She no longer has the “show” to claim as her job. Close to 32 and doing nothing, doesn’t reflect on JB’s method and approach, and so unrealistic.

In case Josh goes to jail for a long time, this might not even be of concern cause he’s away somewhere being locked up while many of his nieces and nephews are young children. If he gets 10+ years at least, that is.

On the flip side…Josh was married and out of the house when half of his siblings were under 10 and then he had his own kids. They probably never had much of a relationship with him. I doubt any of them will be close to him by the time he is out of prison. My grandmother had a brother who spent the majority of his adult life in prison (he did a lot of check forgery back in the day and never managed to stay out of prison long). My mother never had a relationship with him and only met him a few times growing up. I was aware my grandmother had brother and met him once at his mother’s funeral. I think he went back to prison again after that.

I’m imagining that’s the type of relationship all the younger Duggars and their children will eventually have with Josh. They’ll know he exists and may meet him once or twice, but that’s it.

At this point Jill and Jinger’s kids probably don’t even have a relationship with the majority of the aunts and uncles their mothers do like.

It won't be long before Johanna is courting. Unbelievable. I hope Jer/Jed--whichever is single marries soon. If the Maxwell's can go away to college, I hope at least one or two of the Lost Girls in the Duggar family go away to college, too.

Funny, I was thinking if Sarah Maxwell and her dog can move out, so can Jana and her Labrador- If the daddies Maxwell and Duggar can gift their sons homes ( because we all know that’s how those young men all have homes), they certainly can do the same for their single, adult daughters!

A plain palladium band is my wedding ring, too. I wanted something simple that I could wear every day without worrying about getting dirty/catching on stuff/scratching things/losing stones, so an unmarked smooth band, and I don't wear gold, so sturdier-than-silver and cheaper-than-platinum palladium. And it matches my husband's: he got the same style in one of the shiny ceramics (I want to say tungsten carbide?). I actually never got an engagement ring, since he knew I didn't want one, so no worries about matching them!

And though that sounds rather easy and straightforward, the Duggars couldn’t even make that happen (church parking lot without seating and adequate food, I’m looking at you).

Yes, Jana has a dog named Willow. Like other Duggar pets, Willow was seen a couple times on social media and then was never mentioned again.

They treat animals like they treat children. They put little thought into bringing them into their family. They are neglected and ignored. And sometimes cast off when they  don’t like their behavior (Jill Duggar).

Did JIll cast off a pet? I know the Vuolos rehomed a cat citing Jeremy’s allergies as a reason, but I think the new cat home correlated with the Vuolos relocating to CA.

No, the Duggars cast Jill off. JB treats Josh better than he treats Jill. All because she doesn’t behave the way they want her to. Jill is probably one of the best pet owners in the Duggar family. She has a high energy dog and they seem to give her a lot of attention. Her husband hit a cat when sledding. So I’m saying just Jill, not Derick.
