Good job for a 3 YO?

Is this a thing? Even for an adult? I use a soft cloth-

Naw, that's for some tween who caught an attitude and dared to roll their eyes. When my kids were little, they wanted to help, so I'd give them a rag to "dust" or a foxtail brush to "sweep", or a little spray bottle with water to do "windows". Maybe helping to put things away occasionally or put the silverware and napkins on the dinner table.

AH is beyond clueless, abusive AF and those kids are going to make sure they choose her nursing home.

The one time I tried activated charcoal it made me vomit profusely. Abbie voluntarily gave it to a passel of sick toddlers. Unbelievable that this woman gives parenting advice.

It really isn't that surprising given the crowd she runs with these days. One of her last video posts was her and other instagrammers doing some kind of prayer chain video thing. One of the other participants was purelyparsons. I think she was the one that didn't know she was having twins and then starved them until someone intervened. Am I remembering correctly?

I've never read an internet thread more alarming than this one, about purelyparsons' twins. Wow. She is out to lunch.

Braggie reposted some ridiculous tripe about how "Christians shouldn't define their pronouns because it's not Biblical". Yes, god forbid you should show the simplest, basic respect to another human being and call them what makes them feel comfortable.

I hereby nominate Braggie's pronouns to be: Bitch/Harpy

Edited my post because while the above photo alarmed me, those twins turned 1 last month and look to be normal weights now.

Their mother, however, puts essential oils in her drinks, so there's that.

I will never understand these people. If taking hormonal birth control as birth control is wrong, what about taking it for other conditions? What if you just don’t want to live in enormous pain for 1/3 of your life and miss work/school and lose enough blood that you feel like you’re having a baby? That’s why I started on BC as a teenager and I was nowhere near having sex. Is it okay for abstinent people, asexual people, nuns? (Somewhere in the world there is a nun who takes the Pill for endometriosis.) And is non -hormonal okay, like the copper IUD, or condoms?

Also, Braggie, you ignorant piece of twiddly fuck, that’s *not how birth control pills work at all*. You are against something for a reason that literally doesn’t happen.

Braggie is a walking talking advertisement for birth control. When I look at her Instagram where she constantly complains about her children, I think, “birth control should have been your BFF.”

I was this close (fingers pressed together) to comment that Icee addictions are no better. Extreme restraint was displayed. She is my IG disgust follow.

She enjoys negative, controversial attention which is why she bashed coffee. She’s an idiot because many people have to go on birth control for medical reasons unrelated to family planning.

She loves being a contrarian. She thinks it makes her unique or special. It just makes her an asshole.

I see that it's already been talked about but let's take a look at Abbie's list. She has the strange idea that unpopular equals true.

I personally take issue with number three. How can children simultaneously be blessings and broken sinners? It reads like what it is, some kind F-ed up control method, like poisoning someone's drink and then selling them the cure. I'm not sure why a woman who wrote a parenting book would believe that children don't *just* have big feelings. There's actual science behind the psychology of children's behavior but Abbie would have to take a step back from her archaic book and think logically to understand. Fat chance of that happening (see #4 on Abbie's list). It's amazing to me that people like her are so willing to set aside their humanity, even with their own children.

I agree with Abbie on number seven. She's right. Your body, your choice. But you don't get to complain when you have to suffer the consequences of your poor decisions. Getting to choose whether you want a vax or not is your decision but it still makes you a selfish piece of shit not to have one. You are part of a society, you are not set apart and special. Your shitty beliefs inform your actions and you are free to choose but don't expect sympathy as you make whiny social media posts from your McMansion in your white, Christian bubble.

It's so wonderful that Abbie takes the time to be the moral arbiter of society. She states opinion as fact and decides for other women where the line is drawn for bodily autonomy. And interestingly, the line ends right Abbie's personal concerns begin.

Spoiler

Reminds me of a story I heard once...some Native Americans asked a priest trying to proselytize them "would we have gone to hell if you never came here and told us all this?"  "No."  "THEN WHY DID YOU COME HERE AND TELL US?"

What would be on my list of unpopular opinions, you ask, oh narcissistic one?  I'll be happy to tell you.

1. White, privileged christian mommies who have never known a day of "persecution" in their lives should SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT CHRISTIANITY AND HOW HARRRRRD IT IS.

2. People who supposedly love and cherish their children don't generally talk shit about them on a DAILY basis.

3. Not washing your hair for 2 weeks when you have daily access to clean running water and soap is GROSS.

4. Claiming to only want to "glorify the Lord" while living in a giant house crammed with furnishings and a closet the size of most bedrooms crammed with clothes and shoes is hypocritical as fuck.

When I was a practicing Catholic, the Biblical teaching “All have fallen short of the glory of God” used to depress the heck out of me. The idea that I’m a sinner and my only chance at a “get out of hell free” card comes from the torture and death of a peace loving champion of social justice was appalling. Yes, I screw up—but it’s *my* responsibility to make things right if I do. I trust in a god who knows my heart and that I’m doing my best.

Wait, so if my body my choice only applies to your body and not your baby's, does that mean if one of her kids wanted to get vaccinated she would happily let them? 🧐

Her #5 makes me want to scream! Her children are "difficult" because of her. I bet if she'd just chill out the kids would be better behaved.

Regarding "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Well, yes, we're not perfect as He is perfect. BUT...in order to sin, one must know the difference between right and wrong. A baby, a child does not. Yes, children are self centered, but that's a survival mechanism they hopefully grow out of. They get into things, they break things, they throw things. Why? Because they're learning how the world works. I do believe in redirecting them or telling them no or that what they did was not right, but that comes under the guise of teaching them.

Her theology sucks. Her attitude sucks. If you hate kids so much, why do you keep having them?

I think most people would find having them kids difficult that’s why most people don’t! She chose her difficult. And that’s why her children shouldn’t have to suffer. Because it was her choice. Not theirs.

I love baseball but I'm dreading the new season because the White Sox ownership is THE FUCKING WORST. I watched Dominican League Baseball (Lidom!) over the winter and fell in love with their joy, spirit, and exuberance. The broadcasts were in Spanish and my Spanish is pretty weak but I loved catching phrases and repeating them. Bombe! I'm sad about MLB and Commissioner Idiota's busywork rules. But I love baseball, always and forever.
I guess I don't have a point. Just bitching. Te amo mucho, Lidom!

      Happy International Women's Day!

Humanity may have some work to do, to improve gender equality, but I was glad to hear that France has taken an important step to protect healthcare for women (and people of other genders who can get pregnant).

Feeling ragey this morning. I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon in the hope of getting help for an ongoing injury. I went to a (different!!) doctor late last year who completely blew me off. He wouldn't do diagnostic testin, he refused to send me to a specialist, and he just told me to "take it easy" and "take ibuprofen." I'm hopeful for today's appointment but I'm also feeling a SEVERE amount of rage at that doctor from last year!

Well, the rash is back with a vengeance. It never completely cleared up. I saw the derm yesterday and they did another swab and yup, raging infection again, still? It is definitely strep skin infection. I am getting so damn tired and run down from this. Who the f would immagine being hospitalized freaking TWICE for a rash?

My niece is going to be a seat filler at this year's Academy Awards.  Seat fillers are asked to wear tuxedos regardless of sex/gender.  If you see a pretty young woman with very curly hair, it could be my niece.
