Josh Duggar: Read this

3 is enough

Recommended Posts

According to our new member Knight in Shining Amore Josh Duggar is the one who does the most digging on the snark boards.

Since we all know how busy he is, with his successful business, , constant road trips as part of the travelling dog and pony show, and being the patriarch of his own small (but growing) family, I thought it would be very encouraging to make his life a little easier, and give him his very own thread.

Dude (Josh), first question. Knight has mentioned that ATI places much emphasis on healthy eating. Why have you forsaken these foods. Chickenetti? Not so healthy.

May I suggest, growing your own veggies in your back yard? I know that seems like a lot of work, but digging in dirty & reaping the harvest are all very manly activities. So, I say, GO FOR IT!

Hi Josh,

Do you have cable? Any premium channels?

Do you know who called TLC so they could film Jason lying in a pool of blood for the TV show? Any inside scoop on the upcoming sick-Josie-in-Israel episode?

Jesus so loves you guys!

Thanks in advance!

Hey Josh, Any truth to the word on the street that you indeed live up to your nickname (which if you read here, you know well)?

PS: Do you like my avatar? I had to squish it a bit since it was more long than wide and to post it at normal size would have rendered you invisible. What FJer could resist a frequently mentioned guy street preaching in front of the White House in an outfit Stevie Wonder - google him - likely picked out of your suitcase (not to mention the stylin' crocs) was FJ fodder.

PS: This one's for Anna: :obscene-tolietpush:

Wouldn't that be businesses? Remember, he's got those PR-campaign-because-I-stood-on-street-corners-for-my-dad-once-upon-a-time jobs too.

It can help you lose the pudge too. Not that there is anything wrong with being larger, but if it's because you aren't getting much exercise and eating crap, well it's best to fix all that.

If Josh really does read this, know that some of us kind of like the family that is on the show.

Michelle seems drugged or something since Josie. SHe doesn't really interact with the kids much.

I like the tv in the living room and plonking Mac down in front of it was funny. It makes you seem more normal.

Growing your own veggies is a neat idea, but it is time consuming. I would love to do it, but by the time I get home from work, supper on the table, kids in the bath and little bible reading with the kids - time has passed.

This. Dont be an arrogant jerk about family. And please start to show your wife some respect. It honestly flabbergasts myself and the others to see the way in which you treat your own(at times pregnant) wife.

Be a gentleman, help her downs stairs, be man enough to insist that she doesn't get dragged around the country on a bus in her ninth month of pregnancy, especially with a history of delivering before due date. And pick your own damn stuff. She's obviously tired.

It's only within vision forum circles and ATI circles that you are considered even somewhat 'high'. The rest of us judge you on your actions and character, not your family connections. In this you have come up sorely lacking. I know you have been raised to look down on us, we can see this, but this doesn't negate your character flaws.

And education isn't bad. Secular college is not a terrifying institution.

when did Suze post here?

She posted on the old FJ and I think she might have posted here again in the thread about her engagement.

I would like to add a couple of things to this list:

1) Stop making your wife give birth on TV for everyone to see. I know it seems commonplace considering how many Duggar births have been televised, but it's gross and she would probably enjoy some privacy.

2) For the love of Jesus, get Amy to shut up and stop being a fame whore. Maybe she could get a real job *shock horror*.

A thousand times yes to this.

Do you not watch the finished product? Can you not see that you come across as an arrogant, smug, selfish, lazy, ignorant prick? Seriously, wake up, buddy.

Just to say, I'm watching '14 Kids and Pregnant Again' and OMG Josh is so slim on there! He was about 15 when the show was being filmed, and he looks to be only a little shorter than now but literally half as wide. What on earth happened? Dare I say he was actually kind of good looking back then, and nowhere near as smarmy.

I don't care that Josh is overweight. I know lots of overweight people who are kind to their spouses and aren't smug, pompous asses.

I actually find 18 of the 19 kids in the family to be quite charming. (well, the jury is still out on Josiah as early on he showed some smuggerish tendencies, but I have hope for him.)

They have subsequently taken the TV out of the LR (probably due to the criticisms of hypocrisy). There are still loads of DVD's in the front room, so I imagine the TV's been moved to the bedroom, a room where we won't see anything be filmed from now on. I guess they could also show the kids videos from their sweet MacBooks, but I sincerely doubt it, except for times when Anna goes to the "office" and is stuck in the lunch room with the kids and has to occupy Mack while she nurses Michael.

That is how I feel about Josh. His weight doesn't bother me, but I do hope he loses weight at some point. I dislike the way he acts towards Anna and some of his siblings. I have also noticed that Josiah is starting to be a bit smug.

I agree Josh was better looking as a teenager. Recently it seems he has developed acne at times. I think Josh's eating habits have worsened and it seems from Facebook pictures he and Anna eat quite a bit and he is eating a lot of fattening foods. I do hope for his own well being and the well being of his family that he loses weight at some point, before he develops any health problems. I remember a few people here speculated Josh having thyroid problems which causes weight gain.

With the preseries documentaries, Josh did seem ok at times. Boob and Mullet in one of the documentaries also didn't seem too smug.

I frankly do not like his "holier than thou" attitude he gives out on the show. He acts like as if he's all knowing and know the meaning of life. It really irked me when Anna and he went around to churches, giving out marriage advices not even a year into their marriage, as if they know what it takes to make a marriage successful. Josh, just because you and your wife chose the courtship method, doesn't mean you know everything on what it takes to find your right spouse. Go talk to those who have been married for more than 40 years and they'll give you much better advice. You don't care about anyone but yourself and think the world revolves around you. Good for you for having your own car business, but the fact that you mosey around to go to work, shows you have horrible work ethic. You claim you want to be a lawyer but I hope you realize that if court is in session at 10am, showing up at 10am or later won't work. Get off your high horse and stop being so damn selfish.

And on a lighter note:

If you want people to take you seriously, do not wear Crocs. They are only acceptable for hospital personnel, yard work, and little kids.

I think the all knowing and holier than thou attitude is what has turned off many people from Smuggar. It did irk me too when and Anna started giving marriage advice at churches and on their website. If there any couples who sought advice from J&A, those couples are dumb.

And people with hammer toes. They are the only thing I can comfortably wear. They aren't appropriate for all occasions however.
