Awful as this is - I'm so relieved he finally got caught. The evidence is looking overwhelming, I don't see him wiggling out of that one. That's proper justice from people not steeped in patriarchy, for the first time in his entire sorry life - thank God! 

My hope now is that it was "only" a fantasy to him - that all the Duggarlings spend time with professionals, that none of them were victimised, meaning Pest was caught on time this time around, and that he is never, ever, allowed to roam free next to children ever again. 

Oh, and that the show is cancelled and that the entire Gothard movement gets met with a good strong "you guys raise pedos" every time they start flapping their mouths about how godly they are.

Someone on Reddit with knowledge about the files put out a warning not to look at the information about them because it’s so horrible even other pedophiles ban it (and that really sounds horrible). The little info I have from here, the name of the file and a much too vivid imagination is already too much knowledge for me and I’m thinking there are quite a few steps from searching for ”teens” and ”cheerleaders” on PornHub to searching out this specific material on the darkweb. This can not be the first CP Josh is looking at, it must have been going on for a while. 

Is it a bit weird they havn’t found more? It’s all so horrifying. I feel for the poor women that will have to share a house with him for several months because their idiotic headship think this is something you can pray away. Can’t believe the judge didn’t put a stop to it when the woman was so clearly not onboard. 

She will probably have to wash his underware! ?

And they might be adults but the kind of porn he was watching with adults would make sure I could not sleep or relax for one second until he was back behind bars all by itself.

IMO, those were the only the materials they could prove he downloaded since they were being monitored in some way.  I would not be good for the feds to pursue a case against him when his guilt was in doubt.  I agree, this was likely not a one-time deal for him...the fact that he immediately asked if the investigation was about CP tells you what you need to know...

Lacount Reber is 48 so the adult daughter could be anywhere from 18 to 30.

TLC put out the usual mealy-mouthed statement about how Josh hadn't ever been on Counting On blah blah blah as if we all don't know it's just a rebrand of 19KAC. They are clearly desperate to make out that their hands are clean in all this, as if an endorsement of the Duggars is NOT an endorsement of the machinery that enables and protects Josh and his sort.

And like you said, Anna is going to be there all the time with all six kids. It's way too much to ask of someone else.

@nausicaa maybe he wouldn't have been allowed. We learned yesterday that Josh's actions as a teen are admissable.

If he'd volunteered I can see the judge arguing that

1) he'd proven he couldn't stop Josh

2) he couldn't be trusted to go to the authorities if Josh was bad (he didn't the 1st time)

3) by looking after Josh he'd be abandoning his own minor children. How would he meet their needs if he's supervising Josh who isn't allowed near them?

We know he doesn't do a lot of parenting but he's vaguely around the youngest kids.

I doubt the info is too horrible for other pedophiles and I have no idea how someone on Reddit would know that. In fact, that is not something one should admit knowing. Yuck. Are you positive the person was not referring to the Peter Scully case in that post? 

The descriptions I read made it seems like basic child pornography, nothing like the videos and photos produced by Australian Peter Scully. (I am trying to choose my words carefully here because there is nothing ordinary or basic about sexually abusing children and taking pics of it, but there is some depravity that goes even beyond that). Even Scully’s Wikipedia entry should have a trigger warning.

We all have some adorable furbabies.

My Ginger kitty Miso spends a lot of time sleeping with his siblings, Nori (the black kitten) and Bitsy (my only girl of the bunch.)

Sebastian and Mushi (the one next to our Halloween decor) who both turned ten this year are less likely to be caught snuggling their siblings. Sebastian was only close to his sister Ariel who sadly died last year of kidney disease at age six.

 

Sebastian's picture isn't the best sadly because I had to reset my phone and can't seem to find my saved images of him.  He's my sister's cat (I live with her and my husband...) So she has most of the pictures of him while my four take up all of my camera roll!
