Katie did an Instagram Q&A with Warden and Isaiah and they all voted Lawson the worse driver and Katie added that he is unsafe. This information does not surprise me.

I found that very interesting -- they (Isaiah, Warden) had been dodging some of the previous questions, but there was unanimous and immediate agreement on that point. They also sounded fairly unimpressed about him: I wonder what his siblings think of his current musical career and eternal travel?

(In contrast, one of the boys said that Zach was the safest driver. Also not surprising, especially if he's had any law enforcement driver training.)

I caught that too. Didn't she also say he was unsafe because he didn't pay attention while driving? (Don't quote me, I don't remember well)

Wasn't he also an elected constable at one point (or something like that)? Isn't it ironic that a guy reputedly unsafe on the road to be having a job of the sort.

It's hard to pay attention to the road and surroundings when you keep catching yourself in every shiny surface. 😂

I was horrified to see a friend of mine had liked her post. Ugh. This whole thing is making me see a whole of people differently.

Right? One of my sister in laws gave my daughter shit for wearing a mask on a video she posted on instagram of her practicing her cello. Something like "great song but why do you feel the need to wear a mask...?" It's because the university she attends requires masks indoors but she shouldn't have to justify it. She loves this aunt of hers but we all that family in a whole other light now.

I think he’s trying to negotiate some sort of  TV special for this wedding of the year- not just a Bates episode. He wants publicity for his music! His good works! His hair!

So I fell down a bit of a rabbit hole last night.  

Tiffany played Cindy in the Marvel Spiderman movies.  Well, Cindy Moon (as Silk) is getting her own series from Sony:

I can't find any confirmed casting information, but while most seem to think that the role will be recast, there's also a chance Tiffany could play the lead.

I wonder if this is a factor in why they aren't already engaged.  If she's angling for that lead role, wedding planning while filming may be more than she wants to take on.  In a culture that pushes short engagements, if this is on the table, they could be waiting until they know.

Having just finished the Gwen Shamblin doc, I can definitely see Lawson becoming like Joe Lara and living off a wealthy spouse and making bad country music. However, I don’t see Tiffany staying in the acting game unless she goes into faith based roles. She seems all in on the fundie life.

I knew her Cindy Moon role was known.  Wasn't sure if it had been discussed that the spinoff is confirmed.  I'm guessing her chances are slim, but I can see her and Lawson having a very hard time passing that up if they thought she had even an outside shot at it.  The level of fame it would give her that he could then leverage as a platform for his music would likely be irresistible.  Not to mention that selling a wedding special between a superhero lead and a reality star would bring them far more money than what they have to offer right now.

It's totally ISB, but I could definitely see them being OK with holding off on a wedding a little longer if they think this is in the realm of possibility and think waiting will improve their position.  

ETA - and this is acknowledging that what *they* think is in the realm of possibility and what is *actually* in the realm of possibility may be two drastically different things.

I said way back when they started dating that this would be a long courtship for fundie standards. Lawson isn’t going to give up his free fundie male life on a whim. He’s going to milk this for all it’s worth and then finally get married. If that. I wouldn’t be shocked at an break up.

They're reading marriage books so I think it is happening. But I don't think we will get an announcement until after Katie's wedding so he can be the only engaged Bates and milk that.

Or... He announces it the next week to overshadow Nathan.
