My first thought was to suggest that Lindell somehow convince Rebekah Mercer to start a nutjob-friendly provider, but then I read that she helped start Parler, so that's out..

He was on drugs for quite a while.  (From a Salvation Army site.)

Lindell abused heavy drugs much of his life, starting with cocaine in 1982. He switched to crack cocaine in the late 1990s.  By spring 2008, his drug use had gotten so bad that his three crack dealers got together and did something that defies logic: they attempted an intervention.  “They were three of the biggest dealers in the cities,” recalled Lindell, who at the time was living in a bad part of Minneapolis. “They said I had been awake for 19 days straight. They refused to sell to me again. One of them tried babysitting me until I fell asleep.”  Lindell’s drug abuse finally ended Jan. 16, 2009."

I doubt that the part about the drug dealers babysitting him was true.  Mike likes to embellish.

He's been married and divorced twice.  The funny thing is that he married the second wife in June of 2013 and by mid-July, she'd already left him and he was filing for divorce.  

He's also gotten an honorary Doctor of Business from -- can you guess? -- Liberty University.
