The Bates kids are all beautiful. I wouldn't say there's physical an ugly one in the bunch. Except Nathan, because he's a tossbag and I don't feel bad for saying it.

Yes, most of the Bates are physically attractive, and in the case of the females, that beauty is very much enhanced by the metric ton of makeup they use.

Beauty is almost always enhanced with makeup, but I was talking about their features even as children.

Warden gives off major smarm vibes, more than Lawson even.

Also it amuses me that Katie can't walk with her fiance like that, so she has to walk with her brother.

The Bateses really know how to raise smug, superficial, attention seeking young men. But I guess it’s better than Josh Duggar. You know, because everyone’s better than Josh Duggar.

Ew I don't like Warden's vibes there either. The shirt is too unbuttoned, his clothes look smarmy-tight, and his arms around the wimmin'folk... ick.

Totally a 70s pornstar vibe...hard to believe they're so concerned about "modesty"

Sorry but you can’t be an attention whore and modest. And I would say many of the Bateses are constantly showing off and look for attention anywhere they can get it. I don’t think actual modesty was ever taught. They just taught their girls to cover their knees and shoulders.

Nathan has appeared to have gained weight since those muddy T shirt & tight in the crotch jeans, Kelly posted years ago. Warden is killing me with those black & white shoes🤣🤣!He should get a gold chain...that would be super sexy😉🤣

I guess a son from a family of 19 marrying a daughter from a family in 14 makes for a crowded group shot. Poor Kelton got cropped out. Also no Tiffany and Lawson, deliberate crop because they aren't officially engaged? And Warden is so smarmy.

Spoiler

Esther is one of 14. Not that it makes it much better.

Lol. Can you imagine having 31 aunts and uncles? Who’s account is that picture from?

And that’s not even counting their spouses! If they were all married it would be 62 aunts and uncles. And probably even more cousins.

37 cousins if we count the unborn. Most of Esther's siblings have either no kids or a reasonable number.

What’s crazy is that there’s such a wide age gap between Zach and Jeb that Nathan’s kids could still have new baby cousins 30+ years from now.

Is Alyssa and family also missing? Hang on, I see the 3 older girls but can’t spot her, John or the baby.

Can you imagine having to say "let's take a family photo, oh sorry I mean only the siblings and a few of the kids, other ways we won't fit in the frame!"

I have to say I am fascinated by Esther family you have the older girls who still dress modest and conservative with headcovers and all and then you have the youngers who are all shorts modern dress and even kids out of wedlock, all seems to be in good term (except for Leah now) with each other and with the parents

Who's head is behind Carlin/Katie? There is a guy standing next to Travis that I don't recognize.

They Keyes are definitely an interesting family.

I have 24+ aunts and uncles one one side of my family (because some have remarried). Cousins, not worth counting...A family photo will never realistically happen in this universe. LOL. Just showing up to a birthday party and saying hi is sufficient because gift-giving would just be ridiculous. I don't think my grandma knows all the names of her grandkids. She knows mine because I'm one of the oldest and named after her.

Both my parents have 3 siblings so I technically have 12 aunts and uncles due to marriage. I have 20 first cousins. That’s not including all my stepcousins, stepaunts, and stepuncles through my stepparent. What makes my family even bigger is the fact that most of my 1st cousins are married and have kids. I can’t even count everyone.

My mother had approximately 55 first cousins, some of whom she never met (because they were spread all over the world). The age gap between oldest and youngest was about 35 years.  Both parents were for large families, and most of them bred large families. It was more common in the 30s and 40s.
