Has anyone been seeing reports on officer Sicknick?
There is one thing that is bothering me about it. Everybody, reporters as well as politicians keep saying he was killed during the insurrection.

Except, he wasn’t killed. He was murdered.

It’s time people start calling it for what it was. It was not an accident. It was intentional.

I really hope they use the correct definition of what happened to officer Sicknick at Trump’s impeachment trial.

They are having trouble building a murder case. Short version is that it's unclear why he died, and they don't have definitive footage showing who might have contributed.

My eyes hurt from rolling:

I'm trying to exercise my eyes in preparation for tomorrow's impeachment, as I'm sure the sycophants will be in full force to protect their lord and master's "good" name.

Incite, invite . . . to misquote Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, I'd like to indict him to some just desserts!

Those seemingly random people are all very colorful witnesses...

Stuff nobody has seen before?

Trump's tax returns?

His healthcare plan?

His infrastructure plans?

The pee tape?

Oh, evidence. Oh well. Guess we'll never see this other stuff.

Wow, Raskin just now brought tears to my eyes, with his story about what personally happened to him and his loved ones on January 6.

Trump's lawyer is really making an ass of himself, and I am glad to see it.

So weak, groveling and kissing up to the Senate, misspeaking.

Is it just me - or does anyone else want Trump's guy to get to the point?

Yes and no - as I said, I think all of this ass-kissing and stumbling is making him, and his case, look really weak, whiny and stupid.

Raskin - I'm not going to lecture you on the Federalist Papers.

Trump's Guy - let me tell you what the Ferderalist papers are.

If we played a drinking game where every time OFM's attorney said, "greatest deliberative body", we'd all have alcohol poisoning.

I have to be honest, I turned him on mute after the first five minutes, when it became pretty clear what their main argument is going to be: Trump didn't incite the mob and the Democrats are just looking for a scapegoat.

I have to say that earlier I thoroughly enjoyed Neguse's takedown of the defence's argument, pointing out that they took a quote from a paper from a constitutional law professor out of context as proof of the unconstitutionality of impeaching Trump, whilst the paper actually argues the complete opposite point.
