Finally some good news… the restoration of Notre Dame is complete, just five years later, and the video tour shows it looks stunning. I ight have to brave the crowds in the nearish future, it looks so much better than I remember it!· 0 replies

Invented a nice cold weather soup yesterday. Olive oil, shallot, garlic. salt, pepper; red wine; Sea Island red peas, corn, chopped campari tomato, serrano peppers. It was a riff on a soup I usually make with black beans and no wine. Bonus: drinking the wine while cooking.· 0 replies
