I honestly can’t remember. She is so damn long winded and has a terrible case of verbal fishers. Therefore it’s hard for me to remember everything she’s spewed over the years. But if she did, I bet she wouldn’t blame herself.

Yes! She posted this paragraph in her 1 in 23 million blog post announcing the twin boys:

"We have gotten early sonograms since “the twins” (I can’t say that anymore, can I?) just because we’ve wanted to know early if we were having twins again (we didn’t know about Evy and Nola until 19 weeks), and, when we went in for Theo’s 11 week sono, there was the shadow of another baby whom my body had reabsorbed at around 8 weeks (based on sono measurements). So, Theo would have had a twin (right after Evy and Nola). And there was only one placenta (and no evidence of another), which means that Theo would have been an identical twin."

Has anyone else noticed a lack of photos of the twins in that monstrous hanging crib thingie that she posted about SEVERAL times before they were born? I haven't seen any photos- and if she posted it in her stories, I missed it.

What a load of garbage that was! I’m sure her birth story will be 10x worse. I can’t wait. (Eye roll). She pretty much failed, by her own standards. In order to save face, she wrote this ridiculous novel of how well she navigated these difficult choices. As if she has that type of character development to accept real change for her pregnancy and birth plan! BULLSHIT! She didn’t get what she wanted and we all know it pissed her right off. For starters, she had two babies and not one. Although, it did give her the attention she craves, so maybe twins was a pro for her (in the fake Instagram world she creates). She didn’t have a painless pregnancy. She gained normal weight, that she didn’t want. She didn’t  have the mind power to gestate a full 40 weeks. And, she had to have an induction and trust real medical professionals instead of a crunchy homebirth midwife. She had a normal pregnancy and birth. And, Abbie doesn’t do normal, y’all. It’s just not her jam. 
 

No, she hasn’t taken one picture of the boys in the hanging laundry basket.

To piggyback on this sentiment, the absolute first thing that set her off about the pregnancy is that she got pregnant at all. She was supposed to be on that month long, spring, European vacay, until a premature, for her timing, Covid pregnancy reared it’s ugly head-

I sincerely hope Honor fulfilled my prediction and broke her precious trendy cradle before the boys were even born.  Also, she posted today that the pups are 5 weeks and therefore ready to sell. Say what? Aren't pups supposed to be with mom till 8 weeks? And you know they aren't providing any shots or a health guarantee.   GRRRRRR.

Mom to new puppy here. You are correct with the 8 week general rule. We picked ours up when she was 9 weeks as it involved a cross country trip and Covid logistics. Ours also had 2 rounds of shots on board. She is an irresponsible breeder. Is anyone surprised?

It's bad for the dog's development to remove it from the mom and litter too early. My friend has a dog that was removed from the mother too early, he was a rescue from a farmer who refuses to get his dog spayed and just left the puppies to die. He's a sweet dog but definitely has some behavior issues.

It's also illegal in Texas, though not in this case since Backyard Braggie isn't a licensed breeder.

@luv2laugh, thanks for sharing this article. But the author is missing an important point: To conservative Protestants, Catholic=/= Christian. In Catholicism, even among most social conservatives, the whole SAHD lifestyle isn’t a “thing”: higher education and careers for girls is encouraged. There are far more Catholic women’s colleges than Protestant ones (well, most Catholic women’s colleges have become coed for tax purposes). The only things conservative Catholics and conservative Protestants have in common is opposing abortion (and often contraception).

That birth story, or pre birth story, was awful. I couldn't do much more than skip around. Abbie is so painfully boring. It's hard to believe that she's able to generate that many words to say fuck-all. Her conversational tone is contrived, the attempts at humor are embarrassing, and the cool, crunchy mama vibe is flat out cringey. So much so that I got second hand embarrassment from it. 

She explains conversations with her doula? doctor? (I'm not sure because I was having trouble staying awake) in excruciating detail that no one outside of her and Shaun could actually care about it. We hear about every little ache and pain that she experienced. She regales her rapt audience with the story of finding the perfect birthing snacks and pillows like she's some kind of trailblazer for bringing her own shit to the hospital. How can anyone read this for real? Like without making fun of it?

Why are people like her even allowed to have animals? Why are they allowed to breed animals? It is pure animal cruelty to take the pups away from their mom at just 5 weeks old! I am so mad at Braggie the Animal Abuser right now. I hope her babies keep her up at night for the rest of the year. I hope the pups shit on all her rugs and her new couch right before they are sold. Fuck you Animal Abuser Abbie. Fuck you and I hope people will take all your animals away from you and forbid you from ever owning animals again. Fuck you.


Edit: I am sorry if I sound somewhat harsh, but animal abuse enrages me. Those poor things can't advocate for themselves.

Damn I almost wish I were closer with my SIL, the post confirmed they still share the same midwife. My 7th (I know, they're slackers) niece/nephew is due next month, so I know my SIL is seeing her a lot. I'm so curious, but I shall refrain.

About the puppies, I'm trying really REALLY hard to hope they're just getting the word out now, having prospective buyers meet the puppies and choose one, before they let them go to their new homes when they're actually ready. But I know that's asking way too much from her.
