Justin has not enrolled as a freshman at the University of Arkansas for a Liberal Arts Degree.

Anna has not left Josh.

Jana has not moved out and got a job.

Jeremiah has not registered as a Democrat (although that would cause some pretty epic pillow fights at *Bunk Bed Jed’s) 

 

*Jed owns/is renting a three bedroom house in his electoral district and he and Jer are sharing one of the bedrooms while the others remain empty.

Well that is big news as far as Duggar’s go ? but why TF are two grown men sharing a room when they don’t have to?

That’s the $64K question. Probably because the other bedrooms are an office and a ‘guest bedroom’. I’m pretty sure the ‘guest bedroom’ is for Jana.

That's not Joe in the restaurant pic, but I do think it's James. He's with them way too much for nothing to be going on.

I know nothing is announced but it's very strange he's been around them so much. hmm.. to whoever said why couldn't it be jason- I agree. side note out of all the boys I always thought jason was the most attractive. just my opinion though.. also-

I feel like i know legitimately NOTHING about james whatsoever, other than he's his father's namesake. What does he do ? I imagine one or many of the same trades the other Duggar men do? He really still does seem like a child. i cant imagine him in a courtship! it's kinda crazy. You know whichever Duggar man courts/marries Lauren caldwell there's gonna be a whole grand storyline there. first of all, 2  lauren duggars (and many a talking head how with so many kids its rather expected that there will be similar names) and also the fact that itll be 2 caldwell sisters having married 2 duggar brothers will be whole thing. I can hear JB talking about it now ad nauseum.. ah.

Yeah it’s totally James ? Whhhhhhyyyy?!  The only hope I have is that Lauren is at a different table and whoever is sitting beside her is cut out. I’m going to hope it’s Jason and pretend James is just there as a tag along lol (all the time ?) 

I have no clue who the guy in the reddish colored shirt is with Joe and I think I spied Jed in the background of the church (or gathering place of some sort). He seemed to be showing an older woman something on his phone. I THINK it’s Jed based on the weird shaped head. I also have thought his head was just oddly shaped ? It seems nuts to think there may be two unrelated men w the same affliction ?

They're sharing a room because they need to be accountability buddies.  If a man/teenage boy sleeps alone, he may do something sinful (such as masturbate).

Sharing a house stops sinful things such as sleepovers with partners.

Sharing a room stops sinful things you do to yourself while alone.

Parental controls make porn difficult to access (not impossible, because people can find ways around those if they really want).

If James was there dating a Caldwell, I feel like he'd be at least sitting at the same table as Lauren. She's at a completely different table so I think it's more likely he might be there as a chaperone from the Duggar side? I'm sure her family serves as 'appropriate chaperones' but I could see JBoob still wanting to send one of his own minions.

I really hope you’re right. My other thought is that showing James in the photos are not the REAL Duggar courting her is an attempt to throw the scent off the real relationship ship. This is what I’m hoping for at least.

This is what I’m thinking (hoping?).  The Duggars have kept the previous few relationships close-hold until it was almost engagement time. Since it’s hard to keep Lauren C out of Duggar pics, maybe they are using James as a red herring.  Jason makes more sense as a match for LC.

In the episode (last season?) James and Lauren C, along with Jenni, were in someone's kitchen baking something special. When they put something in or removed it from the oven James and Lauren's hands touched and there was no terrified quick retraction going on. Going back to Gma Mary's funeral there have been film and still pic sightings of James and Lauren standing next to each other in a crowd of folks. Jennifer is James' lil buddy, so her being there makes sense, but I bet she was also the chaperone on the baking day.

If he has been  “getting to know” Lauren for a while, they might not always sit next to each other at big family events. The picture easily could capture a moment when James or Lauren moved to a different table to chat with someone else.

I know I’m always commenting on the Caldwells, and maybe I AM a little obsessed right now lol BUT does anyone else find it odd when the Caldwells post a bunch of photos- usually w James in the mix- then they get a lot of comments on that and they delete the photos? I mean, why? Why add them in the first place if you’re just going to delete them when people inevitably comment? They know by now there WILL be comments.....so it’s not like “Oh jeez! Wasn’t expecting that!” Lol What could be the motive?

We usually wait until we know that they're a couple somewhere along the line of dating/getting to know/courtship.  So basically one of the couple, one of the families, TLC, or the show needs to acknowledge it.

Nothing in particular. They seem happy. Derick seems to be doing well in law school. Jill’s made some friends outside the Duggar borg. Israel started public school today!
