I wonder if part of what Lori is seeing is the fact that she is actively pushing people away from God. I identify as Christian and grew up in the church, but frankly every time I see someone loudly proclaiming Christianity while supporting Trump, I feel a little more distant. I'm sticking to following the main principles (love thy neighbor, judge not, etc.) right now and that's working for me. But she makes Christianity look horrific and evil, because she is horrific and evil and supports the same.

To be fair the astrological sign comment came from a self identifying witch who was making the point to any of her followers or Lori herself who knew their sign practices witchcraft.  She has also been on quite a tear about taking your husband’s name as a form of submission.

I’m teaching the Crucible right now. This cracked me up because it’s like my more light hearted class that currently is (tongue in cheek) blaming all problems on witchcraft.  Forgot to bring your grammar workbook to class? Witchcraft! Pencil sharpener not working? Witchcraft! 
 

And who does she know that got married recently and kept their name? She’s a bit obsessed with that this week.

If I lived next to her I’d go totally full out. Graveyard, skeletons, fog machines with chillers so it sticks near the ground, black lights, creepy projections in the windows, the whole works. I used to do most of that but haven’t had the energy the last few years  

Dark is not the opposite of goodness, Lori. Dark and night are normal necessary parts of life. Everyone is a skeleton. Everybody dies. And creepy things can be incredibly beautiful.

Also, since she’s on about witchcraft, has anyone reminded her that those essential oils are, in fact, mostly Hoodoo? Especially ones with names like “clarity” and “abundance”.

I’ve never taught it before because I never taught juniors. I’m enjoying it. It’s a long term sub job, though, and I’m done in two weeks—in the middle of Act 3.

For many fundies, single women and married women with adult children can work. 

Lori hadn't a housekeeper and a nanny, I think it was one person doing everything, the woman in Cassi's wedding. I'm sure Lori still hires someone to clean, because if she didn't home chores when she was young, who can believe she's doing it now?

From the photo of the Halloween decor, it looks like she went on the neighbor's lawn and snapped the photo from above.   Lori most likely trespassed on their property.  I would not be surprised if most of the neighbors are fake-nice to Lori or avoid her entirely.  

So, when did Lori peek through windows and post about it years ago? What happened?

Someone with a better memory than me please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't that happen one summer in Door County? She and Ken were out on one of their infamous walks and she wrote a post about a house that seemed shabby and poorly kept, and she went up and looked in a window? I may be conflating two separate incidents, though.

Lori took a break from her regularly scheduled woman bashing yesterday to give some really good advice to women, which was to not marry an angry man.    Ok fair enough so far.  For the rest of the day, there were all sorts of men saying "but what  about wonen?  Men shouldn’t marry an angry woman MGTOW He Man Women Haters Club blah blah blah."  It gave me great pleasure to see posters chiming in with "Lori doesn’t teach to men it isn’t biblical."  Every time  someone says how husbands should treat wives they are shutdown with "Lori doesn’t teach to men".  It’s such an easy out to keep bashing  women which is why is should be women only but Lori needs her male admirers.  Lori never did reply to the men yesterday, it was all other posters.  But for once it was nice to acknowledge  that men aren’t perfect and to watch their heads explode.  So now it’s back to downfall of society due to lesbianism and all of her flying monkeys are back in their sweet spot.

Do you think I like hiding a huge part of myself from my family who may or may not still accept me? My parents know and love me but there’s still the rest of the family. Having same sex attraction isn’t a matter of people just going against the “norms” for the fun of it. I noticed in 4th grade! I didn’t even know what it meant then. Lord it’s people like her that make me hesitant to go back to church.
