Shingles anyone?

I’ve just been diagnosed with shingles.  It came on fast and sweet Rufus on a Cracker the pain level is up past eleventy billionty   And when I mean fast it happened all with in an afternoon  

Doctor has me on anti viral. She also prescribed Tramadol for pain, but my insurance is being a dick and not filling it

Any body here had it and have any survival tips.

I can't help with experience or tips, but I can empathize.

I just got the first of the two-shot shingles vaccine on Friday morning and even the vaccine side effects were heftier than usual.  I'm just now feeling 100% again.

I hope you can keep the pain down while you go through this!  Will be keeping you in my thoughts! ❤️

My husband started getting Shingles when he was 39. It still flares three years later. He gets a lot of nerve pain in his arm, and has a couple of scars from the sores.

I'm sorry you are going through this.  Oatmeal baths helped me when I had them.  I remember the pain, it was horrible.  I hope your medication issue is solved now and you can get some comfort.
