Anybody else watched this? I had to stop after 1, take a break and come back for another. Fascinating Netflix series about a woman who leaves the Satmar community. Very loosely based on a memoir.

I just heard about this today from my sister who watched it.

A couple of years ago I went through a phase of watching a ton of Hasidic/Orthodox Jewish documentaries & interviews, etc. She was in many of them and it. Then I read her book. I never knew they made it into a Netflix series. It will be interesting to watch.

I watched this last night.  Compelling story.  Didn't like her group of "friends" much, especially that one girl who was always a dick to her, and some of the others seemed patronizing.
