Um. . . she stripped her grandchildren of their titles (and the associated money), without talking to them first. They must hate her guts now (at least they don't feel she is "fascinating.")  That's not a very queenly thing to do.

So odd that her husband didn't want to be buried next to her. He was cremated. They must not have gotten along.

If you are talking about Queen Margarethe, Prince Henrik didn’t want to be buried next to her specifically to hurt her. QM wouldn’t make him king and he acted like a petulant child about it, so he lashed out and hurt her in a very public way.

We need to remember though it’s true he was always difficult he also had had dementia and give some grace here.

He demanded to be made King Consort almost from the time they married.  Didn't the dementia come some time later?

Yes. He made those demands almost immediately and continued to throughout their marriage. They intensified near the end of his life and that’s when the decision about the burial was made. I don’t think you can blame dementia on his complaints about wanting to be King. He complained - to the media - about many things throughout their marriage and his life regardless of dementia.
