Sounds about right. My daughter (born early 2011) had 2 Addisons in her kindergarten class.

I screenshot things that I see online alllll the time (or in real life) that I want to share on FJ but I never get around to it. Seeing as I'm now on month 4 (and counting) of furlough, I've decided to go through my phone and share where still relevant.

I came across a mommy blogger instagram with some interesting kids names, but then I saw this in a comment (not a blogger/just a regular person so won't share the handle) (bolding is mine for emphasis):

"We have a lot of rules for our kids' names. 1) They have to tie into my husband's or my family heritage, 2) first or middle name must be after a Saint, 3) first and/or middle can't be too common, 4) boys have apostle middle names, 5)girls have botanical middle names, 6)name must have some type of special meaning on its own. So, we have..."

Paisley (Scottish) Rosemarian (after Mary): Church + Bitter Rose

Colm (Irish, after Saint Columba) Andrew: dove of valor

Kyriakos (Greek, after a Saint of the same name) James: of the lord

So the new Duggar? Trying to decide what Kin-dra will name this one! Garrett was a family name. Addison [what if she had wanted Madison? lol] is a bit dated but not everyone cares about that. I'd say.

My guess for Jinger and Jeremy is either Claudia or Constance. 
Lee as a middle name for Joe and Kendra’s new blessing, boy or girl, after JimBob’s father. No real thoughts about first names, except it will be something cutesy for a girl.

I can see Alyssa using Millie, though I wish she wouldn’t as it’s my daughters name (Amelia, but she’s always called Millie. I could see her using her middle name too - Millie Kate).

I’m really not sure for Joy - I wouldn’t have predicted Annabel, though I love the name. Maybe Angelina?

My official guess for baby Forsyth is Susanna. It’s classic, feminine and a bit Southern, but it’s also Biblical and has the “anna” nod like Annabelle.

I can’t wait to be super wrong!

I know there are going to be be a lot of this generation. But I think they will try to avoid names of  brothers, sisters and in laws and their children. I dont think anyone will use Abigail (because of Abbie), Hannah, Anna or Grace (because of John's daughter). By the time Jennifer, Jordan and  Josie are on their 3rd or 4th babies, it may be hard to avoid duplicates though. Or care.

Alright, coming in just under the wire here since I suspect she’s had the baby at this point she she said she was getting induced if she went past her due date, but for Joy and Austin I’m thinking: Lydia Hope. Lydia in the Bible is the first European convert to Christianity and Hope because the baby gave them hope after their loss.

• While we're waiting for news of new baby Forsyth, anyone interested in name speculation for the next Bontrager grandchild?  Carson and Carolina are reportedly due "late summer 2020", and some of us who saw her on Allison's wedding livestream on the 15th have the impression that she will deliver sooner than later.  Their first child is Jubilee Katherine.  Solely based on that, I think they will keep going with multisyllabic first and middle names at least for a girl. Also figure them to avoid creatively spelled names.  So here are my guesses:
• Evangeline Isabelle
• Jonathan Mark/Marlin

Joy and Austin were going to name their first daughter Annabelle though, which is pretty similar to another sister-in-law’s name (Anna), and Josiah and Lauren named their daughter Bella a couple of months later, which is similar to Annabelle. Since Abbie’s name is Abbie and not Abigail I think they would use it if they liked it. I think at this point the 2nd gen Duggars will avoid using the exact names of other family members as first names for their kids, but variations are fine. At some point there will probably be cousins sharing first names, but probably not for a while.

Abigail, Elianna ("God has answered") and Audrianna are my top picks for Joy, but I've not been able to make up my mind.  Kianna ("divine grace"), Aurora, Roxanna, Eliora ("God is my light"), and Arielle ("lion of God") have all crossed my mind.  I think they might stick to the "Anna" somewhere in the name for all their girls.  I'm assuming Hope, Faith or Grace for the middle name.

Sofia Olivia/Olive Sofia, Bethany Lauren or Serafina Grace for Jinger.

Sadie Jo, Jamie Grace, Paislee Rose or Maddie Lynn for Alyssa (unless a boy in which case John Jr. aka JJ); maybe Hope for a middle.

Isla Nevaeh or Elijah Paul for Joe/Kendra.

I took on the job since our friend @Carm_88 seemed to bow out. Trying my best to stay on top even though people post multiple guesses and change their minds. I’ll take a look and revise, thanks.
