Lori Alexander 74: Anniversary Pain

I know some people  also consider (moderate)  sickness to he a positive sign in pregnancy.  With anyone else, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt.  But with Lori’s belief that suffering and pain are godly, along with her disdain for even her own daughter, the question had a degrading tone to me.

I am really sorry you were so sick with pregnancy.  That must have been just awful.

I'm no longer inclined to give Lori the benefit of any doubt, because very little if any doubt exists IMO.   And yeah, pregnancy was miserable, but what sucked even more was when my daughter (now over 30, so my experience with HG was a long time ago) had it even worse than I did.

In other news, Lori says this today.  I'm calling BS.  I don't believe for a second that Lori is kind or loving to anyone, much less family members who disagree with her.  Maybe someday one of those family members will expose her for the hypocritical bitch that she is.

I would love to read something from family members about how Lori is for real. However, i bet her family is much more mature and won't resort to internet backstabbing.

Also, how does she know she is blocked? I block (30 day, see less, etc) different people on FB all the time but they can't see it, we are still friends. Does she mean they have unfriended her? That is different than blocking. Which is ironic because how many people does Lori block a week for pointing out scripture that contradicts Lori's teachings?

Would she even know the difference between unfriending and blocking?  It wouldn't be terribly difficult for Lori to find out if someone actually has blocked her, a quick Google search would show her how, but we know she never will unless someone spoon-feeds her the information.  And yes, the irony of claiming to be blocked, when she blocks everyone who doesn't kiss her ass, is very strong with Lori.

'Things Godly Women Say' on Facebook is reporting that Lori has received an email from Facebook saying they're going to delete her Facebook page. She's working on an appeal and is asking for prayer that FB will accept her appeal. I wonder if that was a legit email or if it was just spam?

'I will not be posting anymore until I hear their decision.'  That would be a miracle.

And yet, she'll still have her personal page and her chatroom on FB. Plus Twitter, Instagram, and her actual blog. And I wouldn't be surprised if, after a short period of time, she starts a new FB page with a different title but the same old drivel. She really enjoyed having a hundred thousand followers, even if most of them weren't leghumpers. It's the attention she wants, she doesn't care if it's positive or negative.

My thoughts went right to "I won't be posting anymore because I'm busy trying to contact news outlets to publicize my persecution and GO VIRAL again!"

Assuming it's true. Ken is probably lucky that she's so uncharitable and unkind, or half his money would have gone to help out some Nigerian prince by this point.

I'm guessing these family members are thrilled with being call "Lefists" on a public blog.

In other BIG news, looks like FB is shutting her down. Someone on her FB thread posted FB's hate speech guidelines. Looking it over, Lori has violated many of them on all three of FB's "tiers".....it wasn't one thing IMHO (denigrating women, espousing the denial of rites to certain groups (women, Lori?) Denigrating homosexuals,  false health information, in the past she has said derogatory things about Muslims, "Women as household objects or referring to women as property or 'objects'" "Physical appearance, including but not limited to: ugly, hideous" (Lori frequently fat shames), "Derogatory terms related to sexual activity, including but not limited to: whore, slut, perverts" (jezebels and whores, Lori?  "Expressions about being better/worse than another protected characteristic, including but not limited to: "I believe that males are superior to females." (SHE USES THAT ALL THE TIME) "Self-admission to intolerance on the basis of a protected characteristics, including but not limited to: homophobic, islamophobic, racist" (she has certainly let her legion of fans post these types of things)

In fact, there aren't MANY standards she hasn't violated.

It's wild how she or any of her followers are crying about freedom of speech and Facebook deleting pages that they disagree with. Uhhh...pot meet kettle? Lori regularly deletes those who don't agree with her. Facebook is exercising that same right!

She says its for "my good."  It's all about her, not the people she attacks daily.  What will Beccy do without Lori's daily posts to share on her own page?  Lori will have to go into overdrive to have the same level of social media presence on her blog and other SM outlets.  She's already way over the top on Twitter with 7-8 Tweets a day.  She won't put as much energy into the Always Learning Chat Room because she won't get the public recognition and be able to go viral since it's a private group.  I guarantee they have a lawyer they have on retainer writing the appeal.

Odd and an underlying theme IMHO. For a family that is sooo invested in health and woo and spending 8 gazillion dollars on everything organic (backtracking...but did you see the IG post of her "products" a week or so ago? The one with her organic toothpaste?  It goes for $28 a tube. Uh huh,  you read that right)

Anyway, for all their fixation on health (not a bad thing on face value).....they are all "so- sick" all the time. Always with the "gut" issues, Alyssa is always sick all the time, Lori complains about all her issues, etc...

Now I know people who deal with chronic pain, issues, and my DH is still recovering from a major heart attack, but I can't help think some of these ailments are made up and in their head only. As a dancer and somewhat athletic, I can't believe that Alyssa is so fragile and illness riddled.  I can't help but think it's part of the "women are weaker" mentality and it drives me nuts. Hell, I wake up every day with neck pain (I REALLY need to get a new pillow)...but I pop some Advil and I'm on my way.  They need to grow up and suck it up.

Nope...even with sex she's merely "available"

I can't wrap my head around the price of that toothpaste. Her leghumpers play the suffering olympics everytime living frugally comes up and she is posting that without seeing the irony.

I don't want to generalize, but I see mostly these "health issues" in well off people without much other problems. Like they have the times and the means to listen to every wind in the gut and overthink it. And with Lori's daughters, they grew up with a "sick" mother with illnesses like imagined parasites. So that was their normal and I think partly internalized for them.

When you look for a new pillow, I can recommend a pillow with a spring core, like in a mattress. Since I have one, I don't wake up with neck pain. They don't flatten over night like other pillows but are softer and snugglier than the ones made of foam I tried out. And best of luck for your neck and your hubby's recovery.

I also can't get my head around the toothpaste cost. I use crest so I googled the expensive brand I could think of - Tom's. On Amazon I could purchase 3 tubes of Tom's for $15 and that was for 3 tubes and Lori is spending $28 on one tube of toothpaste! DANG!

BTW - to compare, Her $28 would get me my discounted ski lift ticket with the school and I would have $6 left over to eat something at the ski hill.

I use Crest Gum Detoxify or Paradontax due to the gum issues I have had in the past that are under control now, thankfully. These brands are relatively expensive, but are no frickin' where near $28 a tube!  As with everything else, Lori's head is up her rear end about what most people pay for things and can afford to pay for things.

I tend to buy the toms or mostly natural toothpaste brands and biodegradable or easily recycled toothbrushes. Heck I’ve even looked into doing the tooth paste tablets to reduce plastic waste. I’m still only paying maybe 8 dollars for my toothpaste and brushes. So I’m wonderful where she is buying it from. Maybe it’s specially medicated for some type of mouth issues?

I think you hit the nail on the head. And i seem to recall the Lori recounts her mother's frequent "gut issues" she "cured" herself.  it's a family trait apparently

I've had to use more specialised toothpastes occasionally for sensitivity issues, so I know sometimes we just have to pay a bit more. I'm super cheap, though, and most of the time I don't pay more than fifty cents for a tube of plain old Colgate; it's often on sale at Kroger and I usually have a few coupons. I even get it free once in awhile. Did I mention I'm cheap? LOL. But I don't think I've ever even SEEN toothpaste that costs more than 7 or 8 dollars. Where would you even buy $28 toothpaste? Well, I guess I could find it on the internet, along with all of Lori's other woo products. :my_rolleyes:

I think Lori's $28 toothpaste has replaced her $14 butter as the most ridiculous example of how out of touch she is with reality.

$28 toothpaste? Wow. It may be great toothpaste, but it’s not something that Lori should be recommending to women who do not have any disposable income.

I am happy that FB is shutting her down. Unfortunately I don’t see her waking up and seeing that she’s out of touch and a mean witch.

Now if only Twitter would shut her down.

What she actually means is, "When I see them in real life I use my fake soft voice and irritating little giggles, but the whole time I'm thinking they are whores of Babylon.  Then I bitch about them here on social media."

ETA:  I was just thinking, I wonder if any of these "Leftist" family members are her maternal aunts who used to take her to task on her old blog for talking smack about her mother?

Having looked at the reviews for the $28 toothpaste, I find myself thinking that if Lori bought that to remineralize her teeth, perhaps she might ought to look at her food intake. Maybe her slime salads aren't giving her all the nutrients she needs?

Also, she's an idiot.

And cruel.

It SEVERLY pains me to write that the FB shutdown was a scam. Talk about letdown of the century. I'm seriously bummed about it. This lady causes so much damage everyday and often to the most vulnerable women.

Sadly, it appears that the account deactivation notice is a common scam.

But it’s really amusing that Lori is busily preparing an “appeal” for scammers.  ?

I wonder if she provided any sensitive personal information in her "appeal."  Sucks to be her.  Lori thinks all women are easily deceived because SHE is easily deceived.
