I think because their parents are less strict, they won’t feel as guilty for divorcing. I think the oldest kids feel much more guilt to live the way they were told. They are more likely to stay in unhappy marriages in my opinion.

I think Anna should have divorced Joshly when the Ashley Madison/ groping scandal hit.  Her brother was all for it.  I think she was guilted  and bullied into staying with him. Now there are more M-kids and she'll never leave

I hate to say it but I think a fundie couple is more likely to divorce if it’s the husband initiating it. And it all boils down to sexism that fundies drill into their children starting when they are babies. Men can move on so much easier after divorce. Fundie women normally have no higher education and no job history. Most wouldn’t be able to both work at a low paying job and homeschool their children. And there is no guarantee their ex will pay enough in child support. Therefore fundie women are going to stay married even if they are miserable. If a fundie man is miserable, he can live divorced and not have a huge change to his life.

Except that despite Natty Darnell’s little brother’s story plainly on YouTube for all to hear says: his wife left HIM. So how does that fit into his narrative of him “putting her aside like God put aside Israel” (can you hear my eyes roll?!)

She was never really deep in that world so I think she just had her eyes opened and got out while she could. Darnell sure didn’t waste any time getting 2.0 though. What 12, 15 months after their divorce was finalized he was already remarried?

of course she supports him. She is pro birth not pro life. When people start getting really sick and die from his stupid decision will she support him then? I am stuck at home because I have symptoms for covid because a nurse that I came in contact with worked for two weeks thinking she just had the flu. She tested positive and was sent home. She has probably been in contact with several hundred people and babies doing her job. People going to a church building isn’t a necessity. It’s stupidity. God gave us wisdom for a reason.

TAM never practices what she preaches. She has called for her humpers to boycott dozens of companies. Yet she won’t boycott them. She says divorce is a sin but here she is filing for divorce. If her church was still open, she would not be attending.

This morning while getting ready for WFH I regaled Mr. Dress with TAM details and the divorce from Doc Hubby saga. Including why a fundie views porn as adultery.

He thought I was making all of it up.  He said no one would publicly call herself The Activist Mommy. I said nope not making a bit of it up. He insisted I must be exaggerating a little (or maybe a lot).  I assured him it was all 100% real and true. 

He shook his head over my fundie fascination which he sooooooo doesn't share --but he does listen to my tidbits about TAM and Lazy Lori.
