Stupid question about child trafficking: where are all these kids from? I mean, shouldn't I have heard about at least one of them? Someone in my school district, or my neighbor's nephew, or a coworker's kid's classmate? Or are they lumping runaway and non-custodial family abductions together with kidnappings?

Yes, they are. There are a lot of reasons why someone might file a missing person report; something like 99% of minors who are reported missing will be found safe within a day or two. Children in rough custodial or foster care situations might be reported missing and then located multiple times per year, and each report would count as a "missing child" in these misleading statistics. If fundies truly cared about child trafficking, they would focus more on runaway teens and why they are running away. Some are living in group homes, foster homes, or have an unhappy home life. If a kid is running away and staying away, there’s something going on in their home life. Teens who run away from abusive home lives can end up being trafficked. They are vulnerable living on the streets. Of course fundies want to act like all these children are being snatched out of their beds at night when that never happens. If they want to help, they can stop demonizing CPS. But they won’t. Because they really don’t care about troubled teens being trafficked.

How many young boys & girls get kicked out of their homes by parents like TAM for being gay or trans or just not being the idea of what their parents think that they should be? TAM is a living breathing example of Matthew 7:3.

?‍♀️ I wonder what child pornography she is talking about? I assume she is still going on about cutie but it’s not porn. You don’t see any naked children. The kids in the movie are around 11 years old. During biblical times they would be married. I get that kids need to be kids and shouldn’t be in a hurry to grow up but at that age is when they are trying to find themselves and without parental guidance they may make not so good choices.

I agree. I never heard a peep about dance moms. And there are now allegations that the main dance coach on that reality show (Abby Lee Miller) was abusive to some of the girls. They should be upset about that, not Cuties.

The girls on this show definitely more skin then my conservative mom would have allowed. young girls have been sexualized in dance and cheer for years. I’m not saying it’s right but why is she picking this movie to complain about? It’s not even an American film

I don’t get why Christians have a problem with yoga. It focuses on your breathing and posture. I didn’t know anything about Bethel so I had to look it up. My dad was dying because of side effects from MS. No amount of praying or faith healed him. Not sure if it’s a cult or not but it sounds crazy not Christ like which is what Christianity is all about.

I have heard of this Bible based / Charismatic cult .
