I voted today (2019 edition)

Did my civic duty this afternoon. 

 

Just a small one today. All I was voting on was school board and a school funding question. 

Evwn though it was just a local non partisan election 

1. Fuck Trump
2. Fuck You, Republicans

I voted too. I'm too lazy to take a picture of my sticker. Today's election will determine control of the Virginia legislature. I hope the Dems can pull it off. If so, we have a chance of getting important legislation passed, like gun control, abortion rights, etc. We also have a huge shakeup in the board of supervisors in my county, the largest in the commonwealth. The board member for my district, who had run unopposed for 20+ years, decided to retire. There were also several competitive board positions in otheer districts, which is unusual. Finally, I agree with your numbered list.

I voted today, too. Today was Election Day in KY for governor and a bunch of state offices. I hope the gubernatorial election results hold up and the Dems take that office back! But I won't relax until the results are certified official.
