I’m pretty sure the account is her’s. I’ve noticed it for a few weeks now. Joy, along with some other of the inner circle friends have recently followed the account. 

But I do wonder if the status was done as a joke. I mean, if she really was, why in the F would someone, especially a 30 yr old grown woman, publicate that on Facebook for everyone to see? I thought that was something that was done back in middle school. Besides, that status can carry some bad connotations with it.

Josh definitely admitted to being unfaithful, but we have no other info than that. The Danica Dillon lawsuit was thrown out and her accusations never seemed to line up with the evidence of where he actually was at the time. He had two Ashley Madison profiles and an OKCupid profile, but there's no way of knowing if he ever met up with anyone from those sites, or from anywhere else for that matter.

As frustrating as it is for people who want an answer one way or another, the truth is just that we literally don't know. Despite what the incels would have you believe, in this day and age it's very easy for almost everyone to find someone to have sex with, especially if they're motivated and not outrageously picky, and most especially if they're willing and able to pay for it. On the other hand, it's entirely possible that the secret adultery profiles were just part of the fantasy/porn habit for him. His circle would believe that porn and dating profiles constitute adultery, even if he never actually physically cheated.

So yeah, tl;dr: Josh said he was unfaithful, but we don't know what that means.

The profile has no friends and literally just a couple of photos besides the relationship status. It’s fake.

Here’s Jana’s Thanksgiving post. What does “traveling mercies” mean? Her Instagram stories have a good look at the Duggar Thanksgiving buffet, and the girls’ predawn Walmart Black Friday shopping trip.

Traveling mercies = safe travel (for a long distance out of town, not just a trip to the grocery store, etc.) 

Edit: I mean, I guess one could thank God for His traveling mercies when running errands, too but I'm used to hearing that before someone is taking a long trip/returning to their home out of state, or upon their arrival.

Josh was going to a lot of effort with the intention of physically cheating on Anna. I would be surprised if he wasn’t successful. Also, even though it is fundiespeak, if there hadn’t been literal cheating, I think Josh and JB would have suddenly adopted secular terminology to try to cover his ass and reputation if they could have. “I was unfaithful in my mind and intentions.” “I had impure thoughts that threatened the sanctity of my marriage.” “I developed an addiction to viewing images of a sexual nature.” I just don’t think he would have said I was unfaithful to my wife unless he actually was and JB didn’t want more damning info coming out that would catch him in a lie.

This.  They'd have pulled a "lusting in my heart" thing so all the secular people would roll their eyes and dismiss it.

It bothers me that she posted this on Instagram. I honestly feel that she can’t control her beliefs. Her parents forced her to believe a certain way. She can’t control that. And honestly she can’t control a lot of other things in her life.

I find Jana a bit of a mystery. I don’t think she is the drippy, sweet girl the fans think she is. Nor do I completely buy the ‘Jana is Wonder Woman- so strong and accomplished’ line you see trotted out when she does anything.  She’s had years of herding younger children, organising what appear to be bone idle brothers and running the social media for her parents. I imagine she is pretty resilient.

i wonder about her faith- is she as steeped in the kook aid as Joy? Or does she struggle with her parents choices and the effects they’ve had on her?

Early shows the older girls used to trot out the same answer when asked about their ambition ‘ to be a stay at home wife and mom’. She seems to have lots of hobbies but never publicly expresses any desire to make a career out of them. Having secured a few freedoms like being able to travel with her friend, pursue her hobbies and live relatively comfortably, does she think this is a fair price for having no apparent serious relationship or vocation? Having said all that she’ll probably announce she’s courting next week!

I definitely tend to think the Jana is judge, MacJudgerson. She's just been discreet about how often and how much she expresses it. She has had longer than her sisters to steep in the Kool-Aid so to speak. I wouldn't be surprised if she were the most judgey and Kool-Aid drinking if only because she has no headship to allow to consider an even slightly different perspective. I mean Joy, is very fundie and married a Duggar-adjacent raised by self-proclaimed strictest parents in the world. Even she is getting a slightly different perspective in the sense that her husband does work for a living and doesn't seem to desire the Duggar fame train. (My money is on Joy and Austin be the next couple to leave Counting On, if any couple does.) Jana does not have that. She is 100% in the Duggar bubble.

While I’m sure there are many potential suitors I think Jana has had time to think about the person she wants and he may be elusive..... all we know isn’t her comment that she wanted someone who worked with his hands - presumably meaning not someone working in an office or a routine 9-5 job. 

I agree with others who say she’s most Duggar- so a guy who works for himself not an employee, has the same views as hers, wealthy enough to give her the lifestyle she has become used to ( not working, travel, indulging in hobbies). Even in fundie circles such a man would be a rare catch - I expect many of the men are looking to be funded like Derick, Ben and Jeremy- plus he wouldn’t have to mind the dodgy dealings and welcoming various sexual deviants to family gatherings. Jana may well be looking for her male equivalent!

What kind of highly successful, independently wealthy, pure fundie man would be interested  in kowtowing to JB Duggar? Jana might as well move to Maxhell. Her chances of finding that man are likely pretty limited!

Exactly- if such a man exists he’s not going to want to be Duggarised. 
If she really wants marriage she may have to settle for a Bates.
