Chris Stroop is a very interesting guy, and was visiting fj a few years ago to answer questions.  Chris has been going through some big changes and is now a still wonderful and interesting Chrissy Stroop with the Not Your Mission Field blog at  cstroop.com

I started following Chrissy Stroop on twitter, and came across this fabulous find.

You're welcome and enjoy the weekend!

I want to simultaneously laugh, thank you and also give a WTF reaction. This is hilarious but I guess kind of sad at the same time.

I am a graphic designer and always love these design fails. Years ago my friend and I giggled at a banner for "Labiak Law" but kerning was not on that person's side… the banner read, "Labia Klaw" ?

Vegania is a great name for a vegan commune.

Let us not forget the infamous 2013 "call2fall" logo, discussed here:

Not all that surprisingly , they are Pentecostal .  https://christian-life-international-va-2.hub.biz   I am picturing the looks they might have received if the softball team from this one Nazarene church I attended would have played them .  I wonder if any would have cited  1 Thessalonians 5 : 22  .  https://www.gotquestions.org/appearance-of-evil.html

My favorite all-time logo fail was on TWA promo materials that proudly displayed a solid wall of text reading “TWATWATWATWATWATWAT...”

My favorite was the Jubilee, the award for Dougie's film festival. It's a 3D fail!

The idea was to make it look like the man and boy in the photo in their logo:

A lovely shot of an elder guiding the young generation of filmmakers.

But, for either practical or economic reasons, all of the open spaces were eliminated, so it looked like  . . .

. . . pedophilic frottage with the threat of strangling. :pb_eek:

I have actually seen "tunashamed" and wondered about it. Really shouldn't allow oneself to be distracted on the Baltimore Beltway...

It's even better with an ichthus:

And now we know what that icon of advertising has been too polite to say for 58 years:

So is “tunashamed” being ashamed of a tuna, or shamed by a tuna? ?

OMG! I have a degree in graphic design and worked as a designer, print production manager for over ten years. Love finding other designers in the wild!

The one ton ramp was the reason I clicked on this topic.

If only such Christians were to become aware of the original symbolism of the Ichthys , they'd really feel  "tunashamed"  .  https://www.bustle.com/articles/111250-7-historical-symbols-for-the-vagina-that-do-it-justice.

I'm with Charlie, above -- he should have shamed those Starkist people long ago. All he wanted to do was to sacrifice himself for the greater good -- how much more Jesus-like could he be?
