I could rant about for profit prisons, but I feel so exhausted and hopeless today. Humankind seems to be beyond repair.

The for profit prisons are becoming a real issue here in the UK, along with things like the G4S Olympics security scandal and the mismanagement of probationers by private monitoring firms. Honestly, I'm sick of seeing things that should be run by the government privatised. Recently we have had issues with private firms like Serco taking the money for huge public service contracts and mishandling them to the point where the government has to step in and pick up after them.

The fact that something like this was allowed to happen does not surprise me at all.
