I like Mayor Pete. I think he needs more political experience/seasoning. If he gets more positions, I hope he runs again.

I would be surprised if he doesn’t secure a good position with the administration. I think his relative inexperience worked against him in the primaries. A good, solid three to four years in a high level role would set him up for the future.

When I was in high school, we had an annual Christmas assembly. The choir sang, the orchestra played, there were usually skits, and the teachers performed the motions to Up on the Housetop. This was my favorite assembly of the year. On cue, our African American custodian came out in a Santa suit, pulling a red wagon with a portable stereo. I would guess he was memorable for others who were in school at the same time, not just because his son was three years ahead of me. The joy radiated by that man makes me think of Santa as looking like Mr. B. In fact, I have a dream of owning an African American Santa, as Mr. B. exemplified the spirit of Christmas for me. I've been out of high school for 30 years now, but I think of Mr. B. every Christmas. I'm not sure if he is still alive- he'd be quite elderly now, but he was unforgettable.

Funny how he isn’t offering a sneak preview...my guess is that he has no idea what his ‘source’ sent to him.  And it was so important, why didn’t he hire a private courier? Why isn’t there an electronic copy?
