Alabama Mayor Calls for Killing LGBTQ on Facebook

Ugh

Quote

An Alabama mayor has posted comments on Facebook about killing LGBTQ people, then tried to deny the post was his, but finally admitted it.

Carbon Hill Mayor Mark Chambers posted a graphic that read, “We live in a society where homosexuals lecture us on morals, transvestites lecture us on human biology, baby killers lecture us on human rights and socialists lecture us on economics.” It has now been removed, but Birmingham TV station WBRC captured a screen shot.

A Facebook friend of his commented, “By giving the minority more rights than the majority. I hate to think of the country my grandkids will live in unless somehow we change and I think that will take a revolution.” Chambers responded to that comment by saying, “The only way to change it would be to kill the problem out. I know it’s bad to say but without killing them out there’s no way to fix it.”

WBRC called Chambers, who first claimed the post was on someone else’s page, then ended the conversation. Then he called back and said the comment was meant to be a private message to his friend. He also said, “I never said anything about killing out gays or anything like that.” Then the reporter read the post back to him, and he said, “That’s in a revolution. That’s right! If it comes to a revolution in this country both sides of these people will be killed out.”

Tell you what, folks.  Next time Alabama wants to secede and stop dragging down the rest of the country they can go.

We are in a situation where the minority of voters (republicans) in the presidential election have been given more rights/power than the majority due to the electoral college.  Killing others because of this situation has not once crossed my mind.  These people are evil.  And I have never heard the phrase "killed out."  I'm hoping "voted out" becomes a trend very soon, though.

I have a love hate relationship with Facebook. So many positives and negatives have come out because of it since it’s inception. But I do think public officials being outed as racists and bigots because of Facebook is a positive. Imagine all the mayors, counselmen, governors, representatives, and other politicians that were open bigots/racists and no one was able to do much about it. Because they had no proof. Now it’s much easier to prove.

I understand your frustration, but we can't abandon the sane folks who are working hard in Alabama to try and improve things. My area of Texas is batshit crazy with depressing as fuck sprinkles on top, and there's still people here valiantly fighting against the nutters.

Fuck you and your hateful kind, Mayor Chambers! Just know that some of us in Alabama are fighting to bring a different kind of revolution (non-violent). A revolution to stop the insanity and hate.

People born in Alabama would be deported back, especially black people.  I'm mixed and all my black relatives were born in Alabama until my generation.

That means genocide.

Deported where? You can't just demand countries to take people from other countries. It's mor likely that black people would be subject to genocide. Some of these hateful nutters are very scary, especially since they all have arsenals of weapons,
