Oh man, I really wish I could be a fly on the wall when JB and Michelle saw that picture. Either 1) they are cool with it, Jill's married. Or 2) they cry themselves to sleep at night over the little heathen their Jilly muffin has become. Curious minds want to know!

Jill, by far, has shown the MOST change out of all of the other Duggar sisters. I cannot understand the Jill hate but the love for the other Duggars and their spouses, especially Fundie Queen Jessa.

Jill is VERY sensitive and these changes must have been hard for her and are big steps, considering that.

@Bazinga I believe #2. Certain things I have observed along with their comments at the conference with David & Pris make me believe they’re feuding with Derick. They probably pray every night for her leader Derick and believe he’s encouraging Jill to act more like a heathen than a frumper fundie.

I'm having trouble with the marshmallow one (with all of them because it's not my type of erotica but to each his/her own).

Anyway, back to the marshmallows. So I dump the marshmallows down my cleavage. With the way I sweat, about three in, my husband is gonna be using the chopsticks to pull marshmallow sludge, not marshmallows, off.  And I'm going to be sticky and that's not going to get me in the mood for anything other than getting into a shower to get the marshmallow goo off.

I agree with every last word, here. Outside of Jana, I think Jessa is most fundie sister. Her fundie looks different because it is disguised with some sort of pseudo intellectual lace. I also think she is the one who most wanted her parent's approval, but because she was not one of the golden children, she went the rebellious route inside the household. She sure makes up for it now in her own way. 

I have no idea what is going on with Jill, but I think it is more than just the usual attention grab.

I post her recent words as a reminder.

This type of thinking is straight out of mainstream Christianity's guidebook. The idea that one has a personal relationship with Christ, they should stand accountable for their own actions, people have a responsibility to make their own decisions and being okay with others not being okay...is so anti-fundie. In other words "mind your own business!" "Our walk is our walk." No matter who she was referencing, this is good stuff.

The game seems titillating for teens or college students (like strip poker or something). If you have a sense of humor it could be alright as a "married couple", as long as you are doing it because it's hilarious and a bit raunchy not because it's actually erotic and sensual. Or that's just me, maybe. 

But good for them for showing younger people that sex (*as a married Christian) isn't something to be ashamed of. That's healthier for young fundies than the "sex=devil" discourse.

Maybe it could have been a blog post instead of a gram? (Tell don't show)? But with JB and M for parents, subtlety isn't gonna come naturally. 

But the kama sutra?! I though yoga was supposed to be evil Satanic temptation, sheesh.

I totes agree that it’s great that Jill feels positive/comfortable enough to post a sex-positive picture like this.  Skittles game still really grosses me out and I personally wouldn’t play, but if she/they enjoy it, rock on!

Jill in no way deserves to receive any flack over this post, and I don’t feel there’s been much of that here- I truly read the vibe of the responses to be more, “ew, tmi!  Baby birds!” or “I’m surprised she would talk about this” than “shame on her/them, they shouldn’t talk about this.”

I will post a caveat though- I hope D’Wreck knew about this before she posted and had a chance to put a kibosh on it if he wasn’t also comfortable with this being public knowledge.  Yes, he’s a jerk, but even jerks should have a right to keep their bedroom games private: consent is always important.

I’ve noticed some people like Jessa because...

1. People forget she’s a dangerous fundie and the golden child of JB & M (Ben would let her wear pants like BFF Jinger but she wants to stay on JB & M’s good side). She follows the Duggar PR rules perfectly. 

2. She “plays up” being a relatable, young mom.

3. She’s always pregnant so she can relate to your bad morning sickness. 

4. Halo effect. She’s very conventionally attractive. 

Although Jana isn’t a mom, they film her always helping someone with their wedding. She’s like a combination of a loyal BFF and a walking Pinterest board. Additionally, Jana barely says anything which is why people forget she’s fundie. 

While Jill is also a Mom, she hasn’t been pregnant in a long time so pregnant Christians can’t relate to her. Also, she’s always awkwardly praising Derick because everyone, rightfully so, hates him.  Jessa takes her job as the mouthpiece for the Duggar Family seriously, which means making people forget they are fundie and think they’re the Kardashians for Christians.

Ehh, I disagree somewhat on this.  I think they definitely wanted children but even with Michelle out of her fertility range, they’re most likely still sexually active.  Remember how JB was all over her while playing mini golf?  I’ve always been of the opinion they believed sex was “meant to happen because god made it feel good”. I agree they wanted children but don’t think that’s the only reason.

JB & M don’t view sex solely for procreation. They view it as a wife ministering to her husband and almost see it as a form of worship to God.

Somehow, I am not surprised she did this. I wasn't expecting it, but I do think that in her family she was the most likely candidate to do something like this. She has had this sort of laid back hippie fantasy for a while, I don't know how to describe it.  "Midwifing", homebirthing  (not successfully), going on missions, getting a nose ring. Maybe it's just a stereotype, but I do think that is what she is trying to be or at least the image she is trying to project. I think the Kamasutra fits into that image.

Now I, personally, don't find most the activities on that card even a little bit sexy, but to each their own. I agree with everyone saying that it's great she is showing sexual positivity, even if the way she is doing is a bit questionable. And I really don't think JB and Michelle will be shocked, after all Jill is married.
