I don't think their views on the big social issues are about to change much, if at all, but these other little changes are funny to me.

Total speculation, but I think Jill and Derrick's recent foray into being public about their sex life indicates a certain amount of desperation. To be fair, the full Kama Sutra is actually a manual for how to live well, and the part on sexual positions is just one part of it. The other chapters on how to run a household would probably be useful for such clueless individuals as Jill and Derrick. But when most people want to read the Kama Sutra, those aren’t the chapters they care about.

IMO this is the flipside of the purity movement, gothardism, ati, iblp, etc. They were condemned for normal & healthy sexuality for so long that now they’ve gone the opposite extreme - grossly oversharing! Hopefully the pendulum quickly finds a healthy middle ground because this isn’t “yay! Look at us as we experience everything now that we’re married!!!!” This is “We were repressed/suppressed for so long we don’t know what’s healthy to share so we’re just going to TMI the hell out of everything!”

Many years ago, I ate too many Skittles (in the normal way) and have never been able to eat one again.  Plus, the ads are gross--the one with the kid eating "Skittles Pox" off the other kid's face--and the current one with the guy milking Skittles out of the giraffe.   ?
