At this point, the chances of her being pregnant are probably higher than the chances of her not being pregnant. How old is she again?

She’ll be 25 in September

I don't think that's a natural pose for someone who isn't cradling a bump. My bet's on pregnant.

Alyssa has a Mother's Day instagram post up with a few pics of her and her ex-utero three. No mention of a pregnancy in the text, but in the first, headlining picture (holding Audrey), she has what appears to be a bump. Audrey's foot is against the curve of her abdomen, so it's definitely not just the way the top fits her.

I have no idea how good her ab muscles are, but her current shape suggests at least a couple months gestation. That couch picture looks even more pronounced. She looks 3+ months there with the way she's cradling herself. She's very, very likely pregnant, and if she's anywhere near 2-3 months, she's headed for another December baby.

A fresh pregnancy (though aren't they all still kind of fresh??) would explain her surge of recent "lovin' that mommy life" posts. But like... Norah still wears diapers. Because, you know, she's a baby. A baby with 2 younger siblings. Who are also in diapers.

Alyssa's mom had her last baby the day before her 45th birthday. Alyssa probably has TWENTY MORE YEARS OF FERTILITY.

I'll be stunned if she's not.

Death, taxes, and a December baby for Alyssa Morton.

I saw both pictures and absolutely believe she is pregnant again. I didn't say anything though because last time, it was an old picture I'd seen and I didn't catch on, so I figured I'd keep my mouth shut and let someone else notice.

I said something almost verbatim what you said to someone when I saw the picture of her yesterday on the couch.

Her year spacing if it's true just seems like such a crazy fast speed. And no twins at this point either. Just wild.

It’s like Courtney Rogers. But Alyssa started younger than Courtney. I really hoped Alyssa would slow down a tiny bit after she had her third.

Just think of the army of little Campana-Mortons she'll be able to use to help her harass women at reproductive health clinics in a few more years.

But even Courtney had some spacing - however slight. This would be Irisb quadruplets or whatever that Courtney would love to have.

What a scary thought. And yet, this is how it will turn out. It is disgusting.

Thankfully Alyssa seems to be too busy with her three children ages 2 and under to go harass any abortion clinics. But I can guarantee that once her oldest is old enough to become a sister mom (age 7 or 8), she will start her trips to the clinics again. With a million kids right beside her.

Alyssa and Sam took the eldest two "hiking" when she was pregnant with #3, so I doubt that the ages of the kids has anything to do with it. The Campanas never harass alone; it's always a group event. Alyssa and her siblings used to take their niece and nephew in a stroller with them when they hit the local clinic. I could totally see her doing the same with her girls.

I think the reason she hasn't made a clinic appearance since marriage is because it's just not something the Mortons do very much. The Campanas do it in Florida with some regularity, but the Mortons seem less motivated on that score. Plus, with Georgia's recent moves to restrict the body autonomy of women, it's possible that they feel satisfied enough to leave it alone for now.

Kennedy posted on Instagram that she and her children were in a serious car accident, but no one was hurt because everyone was wearing a seat belt. Could she have learned something from getting chewed out by FJ?

Not that she would ever admit it. However it happened, though, I'm glad no one was injured.

I remember when we talked about her baby not being strapped into a car seat while driving on the highway. She was highly offended and then made her Instagram private. I’m glad that child was strapped in. If she hadn’t been, something very tragic could have resulted.

Those squeaky teenage rebuttals to the folks here who very respectfully pointed out that better choices could be made were maddening. Her ignorance really showed itself.

If you don't care about the safety of your children, fine. But loose cargo can fly through the window, and injure other motorists in the event of a collision. I guess the best way to get through to people like the Mortons is to point out that an unrestrained toddler could fly into the windshield of another vehicle, and possibly cause harm to a pregnant woman's fetus.

I am glad everyone is ok. Car accidents can be deadly, as everyone knows, and when people make it out unhurt, it's always something to celebrate.

I do, however, wonder what kind of men she knows, or what her head has been filled with regarding men. To make a point of praising her husband for not getting upset or forbidding her to ever drive again (wtf is that?). Who are these "most" husbands?

I am more than twice her age, which means I have a lot more experience and interaction with the menz of the world, and I don't know a single man whose first thought would be anything other than "thank Zeus you (and the kids) are ok; a car can be replaced, you can't." And, "that's what insurance is for".

Sure, it's great he said "do I look worried" - that's not anything I'd give thought to if it weren't preceded by a long screed about "most" other men in the world who would apparently be assholes about it?

The Mortons are still patriarchal assholes, I'm not surprised at her reaction.

I'm glad she and her daughters are okay though.

Are any of the families we follow non-penis worshippers?

^Mostly not sarcastic, genuinely curious. Maybe there's some orthodox Wiccan family that are big practicers of misandry?

I think some probably worship the penis a little less than others. The Richardson’s (7 farmgirls) don’t seem to. Although the girls seem to be varying shades of fundie at this point.

I guess that doesn't surprise me? Your faith is probably pretty shaken if you're told men rule the world and then your swimmers only send you girls.

All girls = less blessed 🤮

Thought it was time to change my avatar to a guinea pig who was actually mine!! This is Fudge, the first piggie I ever had, and sadly the first one to die. She was very "talkative" and I haven't had one as talkative since.

Went to a writer's group meeting yesterday.  First time I've gone to this group's meetings.  Different from other groups I've participated in - this one was a series of prompts and exercises.  I was in a bit of a mood going in - Father's Day weekend for a recent widow is no laugh matter; several social/annoying things happened at Shabbat service in the morning, and one of our service leaders made a "somebody really should" statement of the writing variety and once I hear someone say "someone really should" I usually can't unsee the idea until I've had a try at it.  We did a word association map for one exercise, then wrote something based on part or all of the word map.  I picked a section of the map that had some references to knives and fancy dress balls to write from.  I'm pretty proud of what I wrote in 15 minutes but it's pretty clear that I was in a "mood."

The night of the long knives came and went as a plague on the first born of the land.  Men perfectly healthy went to bed only to be jerked from sleep with knives against their throats.  Here were the leaders of men, thrust against walls at the point of a stiletto, there the young men only following their orders, and over there again the family men who didn't exactly plan to pursue this path but perfectly content where they'd found themselves.  At the end of a blade, deep in the depression years, taking their payslips home at the end of the week feeling they'd done a good job, and a little extra for mother in the kitchen. The years of children, church, and kitchen. The good women. Most of them not owning a fancy pair of shoes or a party dress, for who had time?  The children needed their mothers at home, the men away at work.
The children of course, were not silent.  Soldiers burst into their homes, dragged their fathers out of bed.  Mothers clutching their husbands, children wailing for their papas. The ones who understood left quietly, reassuring the children on their way out - it's a special exercise, I couldn't know about it beforehand, otherwise I would have told you.  Hush child, I'll be home in a few days. They knew they'd be lucky to make it to the end of the block, of course, but let the children hope for a little bit longer, before all hope fell away and their eyes opened to the hatred their own fathers had taken part in.
Others didn't understand, resisted and fought against the soldiers who came into their homes.  They'd believed in the banners and flags, they'd stood and cheered, they'd enjoyed seeing fear cross the faces of those who understood.  Now they themselves fought back in fear. Fear of losing their lives for who could possibly know what comes next? Wagner wrote of Valhalla, their wives faithfully attended church; surely there was something to greet them when the heart stopped quivering, trying to pump blood flowing onto floors, and truck beds, and sidewalks.

Almost lost my little dog Molly today  Thankfully she seems to be ok but the next 24 hours are crucial. My ex husband came home to find her blanket wrapped around her neck real tight and she was just laying on the floor. He got her untangled and the blanket had blood on it and she had pooped and peed (probably so scared while it was happening) She started coughing up blood and her one eye is all bulged out and bloody. He called me and I told him to get her to the nearest emergency vet and I would meet him there. They said she's really lucky to be alive. They said to keep a close eye on her breathing the next 24 hours but after that if she's ok she should be fine. They sent her home with eyedrops and an anti-inflammatory medicine for her little neck. I'm so happy that she is ok but man, my heart is broken just thinking about how terrified my poor little baby was! I really really hope dogs have short memories so she doesn't remember this but even thinking about how she was most likely struggling just breaks my heart. I know she's "just" a dog so this is probably silly to alot of people, I totally get that, but she is my baby. I never had children. Molly is my baby. Everytime I think about how she was probably feeling I just cry. But I'm so glad she's alive.
