I don’t think personality tests are always accurate or that they can be used for everyone. However, I like organization and having a place for everything; I find it soothing. I think that’s what I like about personality tests because it feels like a concise way to describe many of my personality traits. 

ETA I took the animal quiz and I’m a bat which was once again a fairly accurate description of me.

Also on the lighter side, I found a quiz my husband shared with me awhile back. It claims to know your personality type based on what color you think a solid square of color is.

The main reason I liked this one when we first took it, is that we disagree about what color things are sometimes. "Hand me the green cup, please." "What green cup?" "Right there." "That cup isn't green, it's blue!" So, I felt a bit vindicated by my result on the color test.

Anyway, I peeked at their website a little more this time, and it has lots of other tests, but they look a little too new age for my taste.

My result for Myers Briggs is INTJ ,and  my Pottermore result is Ravenclaw .  Some of the other personality tests really cut me to the core . I got a porcupine.  Surprisingly accurate in some areas, except I'm boringly unkinky in bed and I do too like to cuddle Mr. P.

I like this one a lot better.  I'm also a realist. 

I think I was an  INFJ the last time I took the Myers-Briggs.  My result changes very time I've taken it but I and J are always in there.  I think the MB lacks reliability and validity though.

And I'm surprised no-one has brought up Niednagel's brain types yet.  A fundie pseudo scientific scam.  IMO.

On this personality test I am a Mediator INFP- A/ INFP-T . 

On the animal test I am a mole. At first I was like: What??? And then I realised I was sitting in the dark, in the corridor, on the floor, in the cold * and doing a online test instead of lying in bed with Mr. S.. I am totally a mole. But my eyesight is better. 

* It's my favourite place for browsing through the Internet, our wifi is the best there, I can hear the hamster, I have a soft pillow to sit on and chocolate near me. I was too lazy to get me a blanket, it's pretty cold for the end of May.

And I sometimes take these tests for fun to see if I can skew results a certain way. . .
