Lori Alexander 66: An Assortment of Cheap Whines

Recommended Posts

I woke up bleary-eyed this morning, after being up most of the night with an ill, distressed, almost 17-year-old dog. After calling the vet to arrange an appointment, I made my first of two daily cups of tea.

I was feeling rather sad because I know that our time with this dog is limited and I was trying to prepare for his euthanasia. (Today was not the day however and medicine is going to manage what's going on)

With this cloud hanging over me, I signed onto FB and checked Lori's page. And then I burst out laughing. Anal sex? Really Lori? Her stupidity and desperation for attention made my fucking day.

Well of course they're against anal sex; that's what The Gayz do :trap: (Although @Ken

seems to be obsessed with bums...)

Lori is obsessed, like many conservative Christians, with sex.  Lori both oral and anal sex are sodomy so you can't do either one.  But many 'christians' selectively choose, I guess.   Yeah, Lori is desperate to go viral.  My guess is that writing another book now is good timing because she has received a lot of negative attention in the last few months.

Lori seems rather obsessed with the pain aspect.  Odd that, because many women have expressed to her that sex caused them pain.

Her response?

-Pain isn't a bad thing.

-Pain is a great teacher.

-LOTS of lube!

Yep. If Lori is going with the anus not being a sex organ, then the mouth isn't either.  IMO it's purely the ick factor with her and her followers, they just don't want to admit it.  It's funny how their god hates the same things they do.

And another book from the fountain of ignorance...as if one pile of steaming bullshit isn't enough.  :pb_rollseyes:

I don’t understand how porn creates unrealistic expectations for sex. I guess it’s the same with telling a women how she is to be treated by her man. Don’t want her to know she should enjoy sex because it’s fun. Don’t want her to think she should get pleasure from the sex. Or that he should be taking care of her needs.

I see how porn can be a problem in that way. Depends on the porn, of course, but in general, mainstream porn has pretty narrow standards of what kind of woman is attractive, for example: Must be entirely clean shaven! Must have big boobs! Etc.

It also, for obvious reasons, tends towards acts and positions that are easier for the viewer to see, not necessarily what feels good to do. And the timelines for women's orgasms are often vastly truncated.

Okay, I admit I'm not a porn connoisseur myself, but that's my overall understanding. Of course there are niche porn areas that may not have these specific issues, or have them in a different way.

Plus it doesn’t make baybeeez.

Didn’t Lori claim that her dad called anal “playing in the sewer?”

Why would she talk to her dad about anal sex?? I sincerely hope that is just her making conversations up to fit her narrative.

A 10 min lube hand job doesn't make babies either - but hey - Lori and logical thinking don't mix.

@squiddysquid as a teenager I had talked to my dad about oral sex. I knew a lot about his sex life from his single years, told as cautionary tales. He got syphilis twice. I don’t fault Lori for knowing what her dad thought of anal sex, he may have just blurted it out one day or she may have asked.

Why would ANY woman in her sixties be talking her her 80 something year old dad about anal sex?

I get it. I was 16 when Baby Nova was born so the sex conversation was unavoidable. We chose to to make it an open subject. So much so that I found myself taking on the role of educator to my niece and nephew. My brother actually brought his son over for the talk because he was too embarrassed to answer questions. Our kid is in her 20's now and we still openly discuss sex but I get the impression that that isn't the norm. By comparison, my mom couldn't even say the words tampon or maxi pad. When I was a teenager still living at home she would say, "Umm...I bought some...things and put them under your sink." No wonder I got knocked up young. Smh.

This comment on Lori's "Do I Condemn Mother's Who Are Not Keepers at Home?" blog post makes my blood boil:

"A married woman should not work even if she has no children. The reason is simple: she’s not a man. Male masculinity empowers her feminine contribution to the family, neighbors and the community at large. A wife who bakes her neighbors a cake does more for the community than buying big screen tv’s or other stuff that will be in the landfill in a few years."

It's nuts how these people can't imagine a woman working not to buy "stuff," but to pay the bills!  I know this has been said here before, but it frustrates me to no end.  Lori wants us to marry men who make modest salaries (which is fine; a low salary doesn't make the job any less essential), but that might not provide enough for food, shelter, clothing, etc.  Wives and mothers are smart enough to get a job rather than let anyone starve!

I bake cake and share with the neighbors. And I have a job. So how does that work?

I'm so confused right now.

women worked outside of the home in the Bible, usually it was in the family business. I will say this is someone wants to pay my bf enough to cover both of our salaries so I can be a stay at home pup mom I’m all for it! Sadly it won’t ever happen. Guess I have to keep working.

I haven't posted on here in many months (has it been a year???) but I saw Lori's heartless posts trying to garner attention by exploiting the death of a woman she ought to be mourning and I had to come over and yell. Please bear with me.

Shame on you, Lori.  I know you read on here. Shame on you!  Yes, once Peter got over the death of his Savior, once his savior was resurrected and he knew he was forgiven, yes, once he sat down and started writing his account of the life of Jesus, he did talk about Judas.  Yes, Luke did also record the deaths of Annanias and Saphira because they lied to the Holy Spirit.

I'm not very familiar with Rachel Held Evans's writings. I've heard of her and I've read the odd blog post and I had to nod my head at what she said.  Since finding out about her passing, I've seen quotes from her work and one very emotive short video describing the healing that happens in church.  I agree with what I've read. I didn't know that she had children.  Now I do, and I'm so sad for her family...   and so angry at vile, horrible, heartless, cold Lori Alexander.

Lori HOW DARE YOU use the death of a young mother to try to advance your disgusting, self-righteous sham of a "ministry"?  Don't you know that we are called to weep with those who weep and mourn with those who mourn? Don't you know that we will be known by the love we have for one-another?  Have you never read 1st Corinthians 13?  Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.?

Your posts reek of selfish ambition, vain conceit, and valuing your own opinions above the pain and mourning of a family who just lost a wife, a mother, a daughter, perhaps even a granddaughter.

You are despicable, Lori, but if you died tonight, I'd either keep my fingers put and allow your family to grieve in peace, or I'd write them a message of condolence and pray for them. Even though I think you are dead wrong in much of what you have to say and are leading people away from Jesus.  The day a person dies is not the time to take to the internet to express our opinions of them and to speculate about their eternal destination.

Shut up, Lori.

Completely off topic, but I sometimes hate-watch the diatribes that Roosh V (someone Lori has promoted indirectly at least twice) posts on YouTube.  Today he was describing a couple he saw making out in a park.  In regards to the woman's "tight pants" he said, "I didn't want to look, but she made me!"  Sure thing, dude.  Are you telling me that this woman either physically swiveled your head towards her posterior, or she used witchcraft to hypnotize you into staring at her rear?  Nope.  Control your own gaze, jerkface.

I was reading her posts on anal sex and had a thought. She says don't do it because it's unhealthy but she doesn't follow the same logic for pregnancy. She's told women to trust God with pregnancy even if it might be unhealthy for them. So why is health a factor for Lori? She's told women to have sex when it's painful, certainly not healthy. So idk Lori, just say it's not your kink and move on.

Of course it's the woman's fault, he's a man so he's perfect and blameless!  By the same logic, he probably thinks every woman that is raped was asking for it or deserved it.  He's beyond disgusting.

Nice flowers. It just looks like they're trophies for Lori, like "look at how many pretty flowers MY kids sent me."  It just seems cold, no mention of how wonderful it was to receive them, how her kids picked her favorite flowers, etc.  That IG post seems kind of impersonal. Am I making sense? I dunno, I may need more tea. :)

BUT I bet that it never would occur to Lori to send her DILs or daughters mother's day gifts or cards. It's all one sided with her.

I actually had the same reaction.  It was just another brag for Lori- not that she was humbled that her kids remembered her DESPITE the fact that she dedicated much of their childhoods to inflicting pain on them/beating them.  She should be weeping for what she did to those kids.  She definitely DID NOT deserve flowers, or anything else for that matter.

Agreed. Seems very sterile...duty flowers.   And did anyone else see Ken's post regarding his birthday? that seemed very generic, too and he refers to his wife, his "doll" as The Transformed Wife....that is just weird and impersonal.
