Faith is working and I’m pretty sure the other girls are too (apart from Virginia of course), but they’re living independently and certainly not making the sort of money that would allow them to support their mother. Considering they weren’t raised to even support themselves I think they’re doing pretty well. 

I know Joshua Titus is studying in Scotland (not sure how he’s paying for that, especially with a new baby and Delaney not working), what is Justice up to?

Awhile back, wasn't the oldest on the verge of being engaged to an oil heiress?  Oil.  Essential oil.  

I also wonder if Doug is living separately, is giving Beall a line of BS about what he's up to, and she actually believes it.  Maybe that the film he made will be optioned, it will be wildly successful, they'll all be in tall cotton again, something, something, something.  

And Beall? You can start working on a Master's Degree at night school to prepare you for a professional career.  Just do it.

You may very well be correct but he's currently being sued by AmEx so we can be sure that even if he does have money squirreled away, he's being extremely irresponsible about it.

If I woke up in Beall's shoes--50ish, decades of no work history behind me, marriage on the rocks, and no financial safety net--I'd be teaching English to Chinese students online in the wee morning hours, working at Chik-Fil-A at night (well, *I* wouldn't work at Chik-Fil-A but looking at it from Beall's perspective here), and taking community college classes during the day to get certified as a CNA. Once I got that, I'd quit the fast food job, keep teaching English, work as a CNA and take classes to get an LPN. And then keep going, working as an LPN and still teaching English if I weren't making enough as a nurse, until I was an RN.

And then as an RN, take as much overtime as I could physically tolerate in hopes of building up my social security and an IRA.

Beall does not yet seem to realize that her house is on fire while she dithers. She is working but she's not taking steps to protect her future.

Shouldn't he pay alimony or child support to Beall and the kids? Is he? I haven't read all the threads so I don't know if I have missed something. They must have money from selling their house and shouldn't half of it be Beall's?

If she worked in a quieter sort of place, she should have enough remaining energy to at least go to school part time for some sort of certification for a better job.

He should. (And I will always give Beall that--she is still stepping up and taking care of her minor children, unlike Dougie who is a deadbeat dad piece of garbage.) But I think they would have to be divorced for Beall to get some type of legal agreement stating alimony and child support terms. 

It seems like she'd rather be impoverished and let her husband fritter their money away in France on doe-eyes houris rather than acknowledge that her marriage is over.

A quick check of the Bexar County property records yields no property belonging to a Douglas W. Phillips from at least 1990.

If they were living in Boerne, that's Kendall County, but I didn't find any property in DPIAT's name there either.

If I were the older girls I would quit Operation Meatball and devote my time to full time steady job. They can no longer afford to live life on their own terms. They do not have the freedom homeschooling and wealth brings to run around the country to play dress up. I think it’s great to work with vets, and I love that they get to interact with the last of the WWII generation, but the reality is that they themselves seem to be barely surviving.

 

They are the peasants now, they should make the most of it. Begging is not somehow more glamorous just because they were once major fundie royalty, it actually magnifies how sad their current position is. Fuck you Doug. Anyway, the girls are adults and the wellbeing a steady income brings is worth the limited vacations, and I am sure there are countless volunteering opportunities where they are at for vets. They could at *least* do what Raquel seems to do - drop whatever coffee shop she’s working at the time when she is taking off on a trip, and get a different one upon returning. Tips are a wonderful thing.

I agree with almost everything in your post, but it seems to me that it would be more accurate to say that they are *exploiting* the WW II vets rather than working with them. They're getting travel and glory. If they really wanted to work with vets, WW II or not, they'd seek out the ones who can't afford such travel in the first place and help them meet their needs for food, shelter, medical care, etc. But such work doesn't make for such glamorous social media posts.

Richard Overton, at 112 the oldest verified surviving U.S. World War II veteran and oldest man in the United States, passed away late last year in my city. He continued to live in his own little house in East Austin, with the help of a live-in aide.  He still sat on his porch and visited with passers by until almost the end. 

He lived about a 60  or 70 minute drive from San Antonio, right up the Interstate highway.  He was a black man.  He didn't get a visit from the Meatballers, maybe because going overseas somewhere and dressing up in period costumes isn't as much fun.

I'd like to point out that getting a degree in social work and working at the VA would be a super great way to actually, you know, help veterans.  

Or working with a non profit or auxiliary organization to meet the needs noted by @VVV.  And there are many of them. 

As noted before, San Antonio is a huge military town with Brook Army Medical Center and 

• Joint Base San Antonio
• Lackland Air Force Base
• Randolph Air Force Base
• Fort Sam Houston
• Brooks City-Base
• Camp Bullis
• Martindale Army Air Field

There are also a bazillion military retirees in the area.

And we focus on the Operation Meatball girls a lot (and I do think Doug has not done right by them), but Virginia is a freaking KID still. And he has essentially abandoned her. Not only financially, but emotionally. 

How confusing for her to go from being the doted on little pet who was told she was so special they had to reroute their trip so she didn't have to go through the body scanners at a certain airport, to being dropped by her father like yesterday's news while he salivates over some dolled up young European women who resemble her former nanny. Meanwhile her mother is forced to devise schemes to beg for gas money.

He is such a piece of garbage. Even Steve Maxwell and Jim Bob stepped up and raised and provided for their children.

Basic rundown on the kids, based on whatever I can glean from social media:

Joshua Titus (turns 26 next week) - Currently lives in Scotland w/ wife Delaney (nee Sproul) and new baby Jack. Grad student pursuing an MLitt in Mediaeval History at the University of St. Andrews. My guess is JT's education is being financed with an inheritance from RC Sproul Sr. (Delaney's grandfather). Both Delaney & JT worked while in the US, but I assume neither have the option to do so right now (I don't think a student Visa would allow it?)

Justice (24) - Lives in Franklin, Tn. He's been on his own for awhile and is presumably working, but actual job is unknown, other than a season spent on a fishing boat in Alaska. Dating Kelcie Yeo, a health food blogger who shills YL oils. Kelcie is originally from the Chicago area, but moved to Franklin a month or two ago. Surprisingly, no engagement announced (yet). She's Instagram-ed her new place, but no mention if they're living together.

Liberty (22) - Lives in San Antonio w/ Beall & family. Runs Operation Meatball (a veterans charity), and frequently escorts vets on "Battlefield Return" flights through another charity called Best Defense Foundation. This seems to be a volunteer position. Not sure if Best Defense requires volunteers to pay their travel expenses (I believe the Honor Flight Network, which Liberty volunteered with, does). Any additional job unknown.  

Jubilee (21) - Lives in Sanford, Fl. Student attending Reformation Bible College (aka the School 'o Sproul, JT's inlaws). Works as a waitress. Officially on leave from Operation Meatball.

Faith (19) - Lives w/ Beall & family San Antonio. Working at her current job since around New Years, actual position unknown (she's mentioned being required to wear a white blouse, so I assume it's some sort of service industry job?). Instagram stories frequently mention selling plasma. May have been taking local classes somewhere while living in Durango, but no talk of it lately. Sometimes sells vintage clothing via Instagram sales, and does occasional singing gigs. Technically part of Operation Meatball, but not currently involved in Honor Flights or Best Defense Foundation, and seems to have scaled back on OM functions after getting a job at a frozen yogurt shop when the family lived in Durango. Sometimes attends local veterans lunches and events, especially after the move back to San Antonio last summer.

Honor (17, turns 18 this summer) - Lives w/ Beall & family San Antonio. Seen doing some demo/clean-up work on a house restoration. His Instagram is private, so not a lot of details known. I do have a theory that someone in the family is working at Sea World San Antonio. The timeline would seem to rule out Faith, so we're left with either Liberty or Honor, and Liberty's frequent travels make Honor the more likely candidate.

Providence and Virginia are 15 and 12, respectively. Living w/Beall and family in San Antonio.

If they're living where I think they're living, Providence could be attending Reagan High School and Virginia could be enrolled at either Lopez or Bush Middle School. I definitely think he DID funnel some cash, but I strongly suspect it's run out at this point.

Most of his notorious escapades with Lady Flo & Co.  were roughly late 2016 and early '17, I think? Followed by his trip to India for whatever that human trafficking documentary he worked on was (I do think that one was an actual paid job). As far as I can tell, he's been stateside since.

I think we'd be seeing much more travel on Doug's part, passed off as "work" but mostly self-financed, which is what I suspect the Lady Flo situation was, if he still had the means to do so. Instead, he's reposting super old, geotagged footage as though he's still a globetrotting player.

Preach it!   The man has done wrong by his family in so many ways, it's beyond astonishing.   Beall and the kids should have nothing more to do with him with the exception of Beall divorcing his scummy ass and wring whatever she can out of him.  I don't know at this point if there's any assets / money that she can go after but she could still go for alimony and child support.    

I believe he funneled money from VF and used it to fund his post VF life,  but I doubt he still has it now.   His travels and various attempts at being the filmmaker over the last years had to have cost a pretty penny.  The Amex lawsuit indicates to me he has likely run out and is living on credit.   As @DomWackTrollmentioned, he's looking for some Daddy Warbucks to fund his life.

It's pathetic to see Beall resort to silly grifting.  It's bad enough to see an idiot like Jill Rodrigues grift her way through life but Beall actually has an education she could build on, either some sort of certification or a Masters.   On some level, I think she knows better, that she can do better than this.  That woman is just swimming in denial and it ain't just a river in Egypt.

I have had a theory he has been in Texas this whole time, but he is just a useless POS and his family is having to make all of their own money.
