I guess I'm clueless. Are "regular" people (ie non-fundie) really taking sexualized wedding pictures? Is this a thing? Because gross. Or is this just fundies making something out of nothing because they think all people that aren't their brand of Christianity are leading heathen lives so of course their wedding pictures must be porn?

They could swap tips on drones- the Staddon boys seem particularly keen on them- Jonathon especially.He makes a living from using them to video and advertise commercial and residential property that is for sale.

Do the Arndts do this too or do they just transport  stuffed penguins!?

Yes, it's a thing. Think bride and bridesmaids hiking up their skirts suggestively (I mean to the point where they're literally flashing the photographer), groomsmen mooning the camera, and my personal "favourite", the bride simulating oral sex on the groom (sometimes including the bridesmaids simulating oral sex on the groomsmen). Klassy.

Thankfully those don’t seem to be super common in my social circle. Or the couples I’ve known keep those super secret. Because I haven’t seen too many risqué wedding pics like that. I’ve seen a lot of silly type ones though.

wow, I just got married at the end of August and through all my Pinterest and wedding-website searches, I never once came across any "Sexual" photos. None of the ones we took were, and my husband probably would have thought it was funny if I had suggested any.

Honestly the most sexual wedding photo I've ever seen is the one where Kelton has his hand all the way up Josie Bates' butt and they are making out!! 

Maybe they just mean they are sexual because the bride has cleavage and the couple are kissing? Or perhaps they mean boudoir photo shoots that the bride takes for the groom's eyes only and the wife is wearing white lingerie?

I suspect the "sexual" photos he is talking about are 100% about the woman's outfit (bride/pregnant woman/senior...) and 0% about actual posing.

The grooms in that gallery are all posing normally for wedding shots (is there such a thing as modest groom poses?) The only remarkable thing about these men is the frumpiness of their brides. 

He and Chris Maxwell aren't "modest" photographers, they're misogynist ones.

Years ago, when my sister got married, a photographer was taking pictures during the wedding party dance, on a dimly lit dance floor.   Imagine their surprise when looking at the picture of one of the bridesmaids caressing the groomsman's private parts, and both were married to other people.  BUSTED!!!

Not to me--only the girls get kreaitive names (Sauntina, Marilee, Cadence). Boys gets serious names in order to be taken seriously. Their older son is Joshua.

Is Cadence considered a trendy/kreative name? I've know a few and they would have been 80s babies. Cady for Cadence is still fairly popular where I teach which is in a different location from where I started.

The Arndts will at least photograph any kind of hussy wedding dress without issue. And they are much better wedding photographers to boot. They could learn a lot from the Arndts.

Boredom is setting in on this afternoon of social isolation, so I've been watching the Neely wedding again.

 

At 39 minutes in,during the singing of a hymn,  you can see Elizabeth put her head on Michael Staddon's shoulder, and then sit down. She gets to her feet again a few minutes later.

She could have quite easily have been feeing the heat or unwell, but Just wondering...

I didn’t notice a bump on Elizabeth when I watched but I also didn’t watch carefully. It was just so long and boring. Did you see one? They’ve been married since last summer so it wouldn’t be surprising if she’s pregnant.

Is there something wrong with me that I'm a regular person and have never, ever, seen photos of the groom, his bride and both sides of the wedding parties that were in any way, shape or form "sexualized?" 

However, there is a trend at some weddings to get all the pictures done early, which could include pictures of the bride and groom embracing and kissing BEFORE THE WEDDING, so they are doing embracing and kissing before the wedding has been officially SANCTIONED BY GOD.  So, yeah.  I guess it depends on your definition of sexualized.  

Also, in terms of  Arndt photography relative to Staddon photography, the Arndts are actually talented photographers.  The Arndt underwater photos in a spring are insanely good.

You only see their back and shoulders,but the pair of them are easy to spot at 39 minutes; Elizabeth has a head covering and Donald and another brother sit next to them.She has a sleeveless brown top, with white shirt blouse underneath.

Just me surmising, what dire straits am I reduced to when bored   !

There are some crazy wedding photos floating around out there - mostly mooning bridesmaids and such. I always assumed that those are faked - as in people dressing up in wedding finery and coming up with the most suggestive poses they can think of to get internet attention. However, I am an old person and I may be way off in my assessment.
