For those who followed this story when it was first reported, GQ Magazine have done a feature length piece on John Chau and it is worth a read.

I'm still processing all the layers of it. I think the only solid conclusion I have at the end of reading it is how many people who claimed to love him were so complicit in his plan...and how brainwashed he and all of them were/are.
