Beall wonders on her blog how/why she could be getting white hair.

Do we really need to explain this?

What she really wonders is why she is still putting up with Doug’s shit at an age when she has white hair.

Indeed, I’m glad she was brave enough to leave. Her in-laws are such bustards, stalking, calling CPS, threatening. I hope Karma gets them for all the “good” they’ve done in the world.

Alyssa who? I think I missed something.

Beall’s hair isn’t white. It’s platinum. As someone who had platinum hair for YEARS, it’s bleached. She might be grey, but that uniform white doesn’t happen in a year.
Stop fibbing, Beall.

Alyssa Wakefield/Welch.  Daughter of Norm Wakefield, an early participant/speaker for Vision Forum, although he wasn't heavily involved & seemed to drop out very early & then went silent.  His church was one of the group of sister churches (BCA & "Little Bear" Wheeler's being the other 2) but, again, seemed to be the silent one of the group.  Anyway, Alyssa married a Welch (big name at BCA), and they seems to break away (I thought for the better) after Doug-O-ween.

Just another unfortunate example of the fruit of Vision Forum.

I find it ironic that she practices yoga.  Many fundies assume yoga is the fruit of the devil.  She looks incredibly strong.  I hope she has a way to support herself and her kids.

I really think it's natural. It didn't happen in a year, for sure, it's probably been grey/white for years but she's been dying it. I think the slight yellow "Platinum" cast is from the remnants of the old dye on the ends. You can see in pictures that it's not as evenly white in all of them. My aunts had completely white/grey hair like Beall before they were 50, one of them was almost white in her 30s. She had a write up in the paper when her 3rd child was born, she was the first to give birth in the new maternity center. At one point they described her long blonde hair and we all laughed hysterically over that. In person up close you could see some of her hairs were darker, and if bet that's what you see with Beall too. Instagram and selfies even out her hair tone well.

I'm not sure if she did prior to breaking away from fundiedom. I don't remember anything like that on her old blog. I get the impression that yoga might be one of the things that helped her transition away from her old life.

Liberty is back in Holland, with something called Best Defense Foundation

^Not sure why these aren't embedding for me lately.

And Kelcie is officially using both "love" and "boyfriend" with Justice:

Wasn’t this the same family raising $$ on GoFundMe so the same unemployable SOTDRT grad could flit around Europe?

Amazing how they suddenly have the ability to send her to Normandy and Holland. [emoji848]

Quite, and she's "in love with them" too.  Let's try for minimally appropriate and respectful behavior around seniors, Liberty.

She may be employed by the Best Defense Foundation to escort these aging veterans across the Atlantic.  I took a look at their site. https://www.bestdefensefoundation.org/

And checked it on Guidestar:  Its tax exempt status has been "revoked due to failure to file Form 990, 990-E, 990-N, or 990-PF  for three consecutive years.  Further investigation and due diligence are warranted."  Yeah, I won't be donating.

Its mission:

Quote

We're a nonprofit organization focused on helping our Military Veterans and their families by providing support, community and help while transitioning back to civilian life.  Our whole desire is to "Take care of the ones who took care of us."

I couldn't see any evidence of helping recent veterans transition back to civilian life.  It seems solely focused on WWII.  And glorifying the sacrifice.

The support and community seems to be taking WWII veterans back to battlefields, filming them, and taking photos of them.  This is supposed to help them find closure.  Perhaps it does.  Life review and reminiscence can be powerful tools in performing the tasks of dying.  I hope the veterans with PTSD post-WWII avoid this foundation and its tourist trips like the plague.  Life review is contraindicated for people who were truly traumatized.

Oh well.  Perhaps Bert is getting a paycheck as well as as vacations in Europe.

re whereabouts, according to her brother's public twitter page. (That is liberty, yes? Or am I confusing her with someone else? My memory for faces is failing me)

The girl in the upper right is Jubilee, Liberty's younger sister.

Now I know what Beall's vague post on Instagram last month was all about:

"Six months ago, this one was on a particular trajectory. Nothing was wrong with that trajectory, but it was temporary, and the next step wasn't clear. Then..... Boom. ??The fog cleared, and she has direction for the next year anyway. And the slowness of the last season for her makes so much sense now. Oh, I'm so proud of her. And I love her so much. ......."

I wondered that, too. I believe that for the Honor Flight stuff she did, the volunteer escorts have to pay their own way (the veterans travel for free, but not volunteers like Liberty). I can't find anything on the Best Defense site outlining what's required of volunteers (or even a sign-up page to volunteer, which most organizations like that tend to have).

Best Defense seems a bit murky in general; the site claims their not for profit status is "pending" :shifty: They have a website/Facebook/Instagram, but they're updated sort of slowly and rarely, and I can't find much mention of them anywhere else.

And Faith is selling her blood plasma yet again, per her public IG feed.

I can practically smell the desperation...

Is Jubilee following in her brother's footsteps and going to Bible college? If so, I see that as a step forward, sort of, because a) she's going to college b) leaving home c) meeting people d) taking coursework that is not home school curriculum d) there are guys there

On the downside, a) she's going to Bible college b) meeting new people in the same Bible college bubble c) she may not be working toward a degree that will allow her to support herself d) she may end up meeting a guy who becomes a husband who's as conservative as she is.

But, WHOA, a Phillips daughter going to college. Again, if that is what the photo and Beall's Insta imply.  AND, there are some close to defrauding plunging necklines in those pics.  Bare arms and no modesty panels for those gals.  Plus poor guys: wearing suits in cloying humidity.....uck.

They're posting a lot on the After Vision Forum Facebook page. So much, that one would almost think they're considering dropping the "After." Does anyone know: Is he legally prevented from re-starting this business, same name and all? Because if shame is the only thing that's stopping him, well...

Reformation Bible College is listed under "Education" on her Facebook page, so it looks like she is:

The odd thing about Beall's post is the mention of "she has direction for the next year, anyway". I wonder what that means? Maybe a one year scholarship, then it's up in the air? Like JT, she's starting college at 20, and doesn't seem to have consulted Beall much about setting it in motion, so I assume that whatever strings she may have pulled to get in, she did it on her own (or rather, with JT and Delaney, maybe, but not Beall and Doug).

@Marian the Librarian I am assuming that “I actually got dressed today” implies she has been lounging about in her pajamas?

Faith, just get a real job! I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and guess that you have something lined up that will be starting soon given your move. You seem to have enough time and desire to have whole veins to pick up shifts at a place you can easily leave.

He may (still) own the rights to the VFI and/or VFM names in TX. Unfortunately, there are fees for the online search.

Who knows if he's registered those names in other jurisdictions?

Where is this page? All I can find is the regular Vision Forum FB page, and most of what’s been posted there is angry articles about false accusations of sexual misconduct.

I think it's one in the same, isn't it?

And yes, a Phillips girl going to college, how about them apples?  Good for her. If Peggy and Beall and Beall's mother and sister can do it why can't Jubilee?

Faith, and her inability to bring herself to work "plasmasaga," sadly leads me to believe she is very much her father's daughter and so is following in the showman's footsteps.  Perhaps Jubilee will inspire her. If her inconsistent parents would let her she could probably do well with a vintage clothing business concept etc.  Maybe send her the Coughlan's book?
