The Maxwell’s are a crazy fundie family. There is a subforum here devoted to them. They are friends with the Duggars even though they are pretty different flavors of fundie in a lot of ways. Steve and Teri had 3 children and Steve got a vasectomy. Even though Teri suffered woth Depression and had trouble taking care of the 3 they had, Steve got convicted to have his vasectomy reversed and they had 5 more children. They talk about this constantly. In fact it was discussed during the recent wedding ceremony  of one of their sons.

Wow! I almost didn't recognize the little girls. I haven't followed anything since the scandal(s) in 2015. I am surprised too. I wonder what's going on with Jill. She and Jana were supposed to be BFFs. Yet they're hardly ever together in pics these days. They don't talk about each other anymore. From what I can see, Jana was not at Sam's first birthday. Actually, I am shocked Jill only invited her buddy team from what it seems. What about the rest of the family? Really weird stuff going on there.

So, I'm a real creep and I zoomed in on the group picture from Jenni's birthday party. Jessa has her hand on her stomach and I think we won't make it to the end of 2018 without an announcement from her.

Could their birthday greetings for their kids and grandkids be more generic? 

"Happy birthday (insert name here)! We can't believe you are already (insert age here)! (For boys) You are a man of God! (For girls) You have a servant's heart! We can't wait to see what God does with your life {as long as it's exactly what we want you to do}! We love you!" 

Also I am so jealous of that water slide! Possibly just because it looks lovely and warm there, and it's winter here

I never bought Jana and Jill being "BFF's" to be honest. I felt like it was more out of necessity since they were the eldest sister moms. Jill treated Jana more like a slave at her wedding than her bestie.

I agree. Some of the ‘bestie’ relationships on this show seem to be forced or fabricated for storylines.  The Joy/Sierra relationship never struck me as genuine.

 Jill doesn’t seem to be close to anyone outside her buddy team.

Sierra was one of Joy's bridesmaids. I would hope it wouldn't be just for the show.

I mean, I think Joy is friends with Sierra, but I didn't buy the 'suddenly BFFs' bit when Sierra was on more frequently.  I don't think they hang out as much as Jessa and Sierra do.

To me it looks like she has her hand on her side, probably because they're all trying to squeeze into the photo. I do the same pose pretty often. Never been pregnant.

Wow you are totally right. It’s not very subtle at all. Baby Seewald coming soon for sure.

Be careful. We said the same thing when Ben had his hands on her stomach during the Jinjer congratulations video in January and still no baby!
