I am of the train of thought that Stevehovah would want him featured more (especially as the first of the reversals). I was kind of surprised that Smug Joe isn't featured on the blog as much. Maybe Elissa isn't into it and Joe is fine with that.

So are we guessing baby names here? I don't really know a lot about John and Chelsy so pretty random guesses here:

Boy: Elias John Maxwell (based on the fact that my friend just had an Elias and it's in the Bible)

Girl: Debra Rose Maxwell (based on Chelsy's name spelling: simplified from the original, and a Bible name because I assume Steve will insist)

Oh, that's an interesting point about simplifying/changing spelling based on Chelsy's name. So I'll guess Britny Renee or Ashly Renee (I feel like since the Maxwells are stuck in the 80s something like this makes sense) for a girl, or Caleb John or David John for a boy (simple and biblical).

I’m glad they did what the animal control told them and the baby raccoons were safe. Sometimes fundies seem like complete morons when it comes to animals but since she grew up on a farm, she probably knows to listen to the animal control people. They seem to be really enjoying life as a married couple. Too bad they don’t have another year together just the two of them. Chelsy probably won’t travel with him as much when the baby comes. I wonder if she will hate being stuck at home all the time without him. I laughed when she said she liked that the Maxwell’s all lived in the same town. Sweetie, they all live in the same neighborhood!

Initial thoughts:

• I guess this puts to bed the speculation that Maxwell Irrigation went under.
• Shhhhhhhhhhhhhocking (not) that Chris wasn't at game night. The guys look like they're legit having fun.
• They play actual good board games!
• Equally shocking that Anna didn't go out with Chels, Mel, and Elissa.
• I wonder how much more time Chels spends with Mel and Elissa than the Max girls. A lot I'd wager.
• How the hell is Cheesecake Factory anyone's favorite restaurant? Over-priced mediocre food in my opinion.
• Chelsy has got more garden going on her own than everyone at the mother ship put together.
• They seem very happy and I'm happy for them.
• Bitter Sarah nowhere to be found.

I also noticed that Chris and Anna were both missing from guys night and girls night. My guess is that their life is full and exhausting with that many children all close together in age. They have the same number as Nathan and Mel but theirs are spread out. When you spread out five kids, it’s not as completely overwhelming and exhausting. Calia and Kyle are over two years apart so hopefully they won’t have children back to back like NRAnna. I’m also hoping John and Chelsy don’t have them so close together either. I think Anna probably does well as a mom to many. However it’s still exhausting no matter how good you are at being a SAHM. Chris and Anna use the Maxwell’s as a babysitter fairly often and when they visit for meals, they have a lot of extra hands to help with the kids. That’s probably why we see them so often in the blog.
