To be fair, the entire plot of Emperor's New Groove is set in motion by Yzma's inability to be submissive to Kuzco and show him the proper deference, which evidently was a lot like Lori early in her marriage.  If only Yzma had found Jesus, THEN maybe she wouldn't be turning people into llamas!  She would know her place and step down so that the kingdom could be run by Kronk and Kuzco and Theme Song Guy, where it would be in chaos within the year because frankly, that's THE WORST idea.

I'd have to see Ken's spinach puffs to know if he's Kronk*.  He might just be the monkey eating the bug or the angry squirrel.

For dinner I'm going out tonight... I think it's a date? Idk we never established exactly what we are. I think it's gonna end with friendship but anyways....We're going to a wonderfu Italian restaurant. Their bread with oil and herb mix is wonderful. And I've discovered bacon wrapped dates with balsamic maple sauce (gonna try making these myself). A little expensive but the food is actually worth it. 

I had another interview today for a job and I hate interviews so I'm treating myself. 

@Georgiana I'd personally go with angry squirrel: chattery, twitchy, nuts, and probably belongs in a hole somewhere.

I could have written the above statement. Today is my 38th wedding anniversary but it has been mostly 38 years of being a roommate. My wife has had sex with me maybe 20 times in all those years, I have slept in a separate room as well because ” you’re too restless a sleeper and I need my rest”. Over the years I have talked to 4 different pastors about this and their advice has been a kinder version of “suck it up” . Not one has ever called my wife on the carpet for her sin. The church has failed us big time.

Super helpful comment from M. It couldn’t be that Chuck’s wife has struggles of her own- that either haven’t been addressed or can’t be fully resolved. And who goes to their Pastor over something like this? Like a little cry baby. Why not go to counseling? To a doctor? And if those things are done and still no resolution, why not acknowledge that maybe your wife can’t give more than that. You love her, right? You care for her, right? Find some compassion. 

It’s almost like he only got married for sex. I wonder about her experiences and the way she was raised.

Alyssa recently posted an IG story of her taking a walk woth Cassie and Ken. They had Cassie's older dsughter with them. Maybe the brestfeeding post is aimed at Cassie; although I can't imagine anything she does offends her mother. She seems to be the one who does everything Lori wants. She also seems to be the one who has no light in her eyes. She always looks sad, in my opinion.

Well, according to his record, he has a previous arrest from 2016 for resisting a police officer.

It's almost like there's some sort of flaw in teaching girls to be modest, chaste, and pure to the point of obsession. Some sort of, I don't know, issue of some sort in teaching only girls that they must control themselves--that sex is a dirty, dirty sin and then expecting them to regularly and suddenly enjoy sex with unabashed gusto after they've been conditioned this way for 20-25 years. If only there was a cat detective to figure this case out!

Yeah, you don't get to the point of a trial, verdict and sentence just for defending your family!  Sounds like he's really bad, bad news.

Delphinium65, I find your comment in the previous Lori thread about my marriage being doomed hilarious!  Because we got divorced after our 7th anniversary and then got back together and remarried several months later!   Thanks for brightening my day!

Imrlgoddess, it's similar to SOS except that it's more of a sauce than a gravy.  It's very good.  Also, we didn't wind up having it for dinner because hubs wasn't hungry and I'm not inclined to cook after all. So it will probably be tomorrow.  It was cheese and crackers tonight, after all.  I guess I'm still a bad wife because I did not cook for my hard-working man after all! lol.

Sorry, but I'm still on this Cameron Mosser thing because I'm a creep.

Anyways, it looks like the incident happened over a year ago.  He posted bail, and was released about 7 months ago.

On 5/30/18 he was surrendered back to the local jail.  Now, that doesn't "just happen".  You post bail, you're out unless you violate the terms of your release or reoffend.  So this guy couldn't even keep his nose clean for 7 months, which is probably why the bail is so high now.  

I didn't even notice the years were different.  There is A LOT more to this story, and one of those details is that this guy is a repeat offender who clearly has no interest in obeying the law.

Edit: I think I found the neighbor.  He was taken into custody for simple battery actually before Cameron.  So at least initially, it seems like the police bought Cameron's account and it was only later that they returned to arrest Mr. Mosser. 

Edit2: Neighborino may or may not have a past with drug trafficking.  This is hard to tell because he has a common name.  I don't want to write his name here because I don't want this tied to his name if I'm looking at the wrong guy.  However, if this was a fight over drugs, it makes sense why Cam would later be arrested despite witnesses claiming this was self defense.  He may not have been arrested for the fight at all, but for details that came out after the fight.  

Someone get me that detective cat!  Mine are NO HELP!
