Historic Glasgow School of Art destroyed by fire for the second time in 4 years.

Weeks after the 150th anniversary of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's birth, one of his most renowned designs the Glasgow School of Art has been destroyed by a second fire while still undergoing refurbishments from the 2014 fire and a months after a fire destroyed Victoria's night club and other buildings in the same street. The blaze is thought to be worse than the previous blaze and spread to the o2 academy music venue next door. No one was hurt.

Saw this on the news at the weekend. It's really sad. I wonder how the fire started.

They suspect it may have started in the abc music venue next door but are not certain yet. I work in the Taco Bell down from it and my work is still cordoned off.
